Good evening to all off my happy readers,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

it is Friday finally. I have been getting some last pieces I was missing to complete my Christmas decor and I am going to be done by the end of the weekend. Yeah for that.

So for today´s part I am sharing some cute little beauty sets to gift to your collegues, neighbours, to use as stocking stuffer or just ot keep for yourself 😉

There will be another beauty gift guide with a lot more ideas but for now I wanted to share these little and unexpensive things cause gift don´t always have to cost a lot to show someone you appreciate them.

Bare Minerals Lipstick Set

I recently got into Bare Minerals lipsticks and I have to admit I love them. The intensity of the color, the longlivity and all the gordeous colors. So I thought why not test a set out. It has half nude and half bright color kit.

EOS Lip Balm Set

This is such a cute and inexpensive gift and also one every woman needs. There are two different scents in the pack so you could also easily spread it up.

Real Techniques Brush Set

A german brand that makes great quality brushes at an awesome price point. I got my first set for my birthday about three years ago and loved them ever since. They have several different sets also for travel. Their beauty blender also is my go-to and I always have an update at home.

Rituals Set

I am gifting a bunch of these every year during the holidays as these are all awesome. The smells of all are so so good and the sizes are great for travelling. Also the gift boxes are beautiful and make a nice piece of decor or a keepsake box.

Bare Minerals Gloss and Blush Set

Such a good deal on this set. A color matching full size set including a blush and a lipgloss. I came to know Bare Minerals products during the last Sephora sale and I like them a lot. They are great quality products. A little pricey but if you wait for sale opportunities or gift sets you get a great value for your money.

MAC Lucky Star Lipstick Kit

2019´s MAC holiday collection is adorable and I love it even more than the last two. The glittery pink all over the cases and the imprinted stars on the little lipsticks are to die for. Would make a nice stocking stuffer or a great surprise for the make-up loving gal in your life.

Hope this has given you some insight on what´s out there to get for this year. There are some tried and true classics but also always new products.

Have a great weekend. See you back on Monday.

Good morning you guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

So since hair is one of the first thing everybody sees you definitey want it to be healthy and shiny and looking it´s best as often as possible. For this I am finally sharing my hair care routine after trying many products and improving here and there.

I am washing my hair about two to three times a week, and I am using the Maria Nila Sheer shampoo and conditioner. Lately I have been looking for more nature beauty produts I can incorporate into my daily/weekly routine. The set is silicone and paraben free and also helps to take away the yellow of my blonde to keep the color on the cooler side.  The smell is really good. I have been trying to keep the shampoo on as long as the conditioner cause in my opinion this helps even much better to get out the yellowness.

So for the other days of the week were I definitely avoid to wash my hair, dry shampoo is my hero. I have tried lots of different brands and my two favorite ones are from Batiste. First of all the hydrating one and second of all the blonde shade dry shampoo. I like it a lot because the smell is great and it isn´t to white so it really isn´t to hard to let the residues dissapear.

For taking care of my hair – it can be dry at times and dull cause of all the prouct at the end of a week and also of the coloring – I am using the Olaplex No. 3 as a mask before washing my hair. I let it set for about 30 minutes before washing my hair. It really has made a difference and I am stocking up on it everytime it goes on sale somewhere.

Most of the times after washing I let my hair air dry to avoid using to much heat cause I still love to style it. So I just put in my Morrocan hairoil into the tips of my hair to keep them hydrated and shiny.

Afterwards, if I am styling my hair, I use my beloved T3 curling wand. Most of my hairstyles include curls so this one comes in pretty handy. I have had a ton of curling wands. Bad ones, okay ones but the T3 is awesome. It is the one thing that comes closest to a professional tool. I love the design and the color. I got the wand with the interchangeable barrels and most of the time I am using the medium size. I think my curls are more pretty and last twice as long.

Other tools I love for styling my hair. The Wet Brush has been a real hair safer for combing through my hair after showering. It really doesn´t hurt at all and saves my hairs. The Invisibobble hair ties are pretty old but I still love them and use them frequently. They are just the best of the ring hair ties and I personally love that they came out with a velvet scrunchie line. Leopard love around here.

Products for after styling and refreshing:

Hairspray // The L´Oréal Elnett Paris hairspray has been a favorite of mine for nearly ten years. I just love everything about it and always reach for it again after mine is empty. They also offer a limited edition glitter hairspray during Christmas time which is bomb.

Redken ShineFlash shinespray // Using this as a finishing spray after I am done styling has worked like a charm. It gives my hair a light and glossy finish which I totally love and makes your hair look super luxe.

Texturizing Spray // I have been trying the Tony & Guy Sky High Volume spary because it was literally one of the only affordable texturizing sprays to use on dry hair. I have used it a few times now and it is all right.  Costs about 15 Euro and definitely saves your second and third day hair.

Living Proof Anti-Frizz spray // Great product for these hot and humid summer days. Keeps your straight hair straight and sleek.

Heat protection spray // I have been using this heat protection spray for curling my hair for quite some time and I think it works pretty good. Also it is supposed to hold your curls longer and that is not a bad thing.

These are my favorite and most used hair care products at the moment. Do you have any holy grail products you need to use? I would love to know.

Thanks for stopping by and have a nice weekend.

The top hair accessories right now and how to style them…

hair accessory, hair clip, scrunchie, hair style, headband, pearly hairband, Madame Schischi, fashionblogger, statement styles

….

Hi y´all,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

I am beyond excited to finally share this post with all of you. I love hair accessories. Not only do they look super cute and there hasn´t been such a huge variety than today they also save your bad hair days immediately.

So for today´s blog post I have styled 5 different hair styles with different hair accessories to show you how easy it is to look different and effortless every day in a short amount of time.

Scrunchies

I didn´t want to get a scrunchie for a long time cause I think everybody knows the scene from Sex and the city were the hairtie tells apart the New Yorker girls from the mainlander but after seeing it constantly everywhere I gave in and got my own. I only have 4 pieces. 2 velvet scrunchies I got from Invisibobble and two I got from H&M. I personally have to say I really like them to wrap around a bun so you see a little more of your hairtie and can also add some pattern or pop of color to your hairstyle. I have worn mine here with a low bun.

Pearl hair clips

These have been all over Instagram since the beginning of the year and maybe some of the girls are just wearing the pearly hair clips just for the pictures I love them a lot and get a ton of use out of them. I have 4 different pieces and wear them whenever I feel like there is a little extra needed to jazz up my look.

Headbands

Wearing my headbands like in the pictures above is so 70´s and I just can´t get enough of it. I have gotten one or two strange looks from other people but I really don´t care. Fashion is to express yourself and what you like and if other people don´t get it it´s not your problem. There are also tons of headbands available on the H&M site but I got this one from Forever 21 plus two plain ones I love to wear.

Hairband

This is my favorite hair trend. I love love love all the adorable pearly hairbands out there and I got quite the collection in a few months but they are just the cutest pieces ever and if you go shop on amazon they are also super affordable. I got a bunch of different styles and also a pack of 4 or 6 which come in the same style but all different colors. The one I am wearing above is from etsy. The seller is called Very Shine and the hairbands are made of great quality but are about 15 Euro each but I think they are totally worth it.

Hair scarves

I had been into this trend for a very long time. It probably hasn´t been even „on trend“ back then but I always liked the idea of adding some interesting accessories to my hairstyle. There are tons of short and slim scarves available for your hair. I love looking at the H&M site for these since they always have a ton of different colors and prints for a very reasonable pricing.

Have you tried any of the hair styling trends so far ? I think especially the hairband trend isn´t going anywhere. I have gotten a bunch of cute colors in a velvet material for Fall/Winter and can´t wait to wear them.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
