I already have enough of this week and it is only Tuesday evening. To be honest my to-do list looks so never ending this week it feels a little overwhelming but preparing for the holidays, helping my family with personal stuff, decorating the home, cleaning and looking after Emilia is a lot for me these days.

But I made quite the progress with my holiday decor today which I am very pleased with. I just have to add a few more touches of Christmas here and there and I can film a litle reel for you.

But let´s have a look at this adorable cardigan. Short, oversized cardigans are super trendy right now and I only got this one so far but I have gotten a lot of wear out of it already. My whole inspo for this look has been a similar cardigan Katey McFarlan has worn a few weeks back. I loved the big collar, big cardigan idea a lot and it definitely looks very chic.

The cardigan itself looks very cute tucked into a pair of pants and also over a dress. It is a very versatile piece.

I had the worst night and day today being so sick I couldn´t even get up. Being sick is really hard with a toddler who doesn´t understand why you can´t do anything with her. I just breaks my heart.

Anyways hopefully I am feeling better tomorrow cause we have a lot of plans and I wanted to get a ton of stuff done. So who doesn´t love a monochromatic look ? I mean how gorgeous does this look. A beautiful deep rust color. I got the dress last year but bodycon dresses are super popular so I am going to link you a bunch of similar pieces. The poncho is as comfortable and warm as a blanket but so stylish with the plaid. I felt like an English country lady all day wearing this look. I always want to wear a great monochromatic look but when it comes down to it I somehow never like the look of it except this time.

I normally don´t wear my hair as sleek back as in this post but I somehow liked how it looked that day and stuck with it. I only really have a handful of hair stlyes I like to wear other than that I am pretty boring plus it takes up so much time to try new ones and in my opinion you have to like them right away or it doesn´t work.

Going to take another nap now so see you on Monday with Christmas cheer.

We always write of neutrals and how great they are plus how important it is to have a good set of neutrals in your closet as a basic wardrobe but what are neutrals?

Neutrals are colors that basically match with every other color/print in your wardrobe which is amazing cause this means you can never go wrong with throwing outfits together. Also it makes a great base in your wardrobe you can build up with high quality pieces and longlasting items.

Beige

That´s a year round favorite and pairs so well with all the bright colors of Summer, the pastels of Spring, the warm tones of Fall and the deep dark jewel tones and all the sparkles around Christmas and Winter time. You can not go wrong by adding pieces in this color to your closet.

Charcoral 

Not a color I usually wear cause to be honest blue or white is my preferred color for denim but it is a great alternative if you don´t want to go as as dark with black. Also the bootcut style is super flattering. Elongates the legs and slims the thighs. 

Blue Denim

A classic that will probably never go out of style. Whether the color nor the style. My shirt is a little oversized but still fits great into the whole look. I consider denim blue as a neutral cause most people wear a pair of denim almost everyday and style such different pieces with it.

Also are you in the current sweater vest trend? I kind of love but it also reminds me back at my time at school and this isn´t a very pleasant thought.
