This last week has been spring break over here and I am so glad the weather played out fine. We packed so many fun things into one week so our little ones would ´t get bored. It worked out fine but was very time consuming at stressful at times.

Spring sunsets are unreal.

MONDAY – Potatoe casserole with bacon 

TUESDAY – Farmhouse potatoe salad

WEDNESDAY – Leftovers

THURSDAY – Butter noodles – sadly the girl´s most favorite food

FRIDAY – Pizza night – this is always a favorite at our home. The girls love to participate in making their own pizza and have so fun.

SATURDAY – Chicken nuggets and fries

SUNDAY – Brunch with my in-laws

Fashion 

I have stared a new series on my Instagram called Spring Fit where I am sharing Spring outfit ideas in the prettiest of pastell colors. I had so much fun putting these together and wearing them. So glad Spring is finally here.

Activities 

As I said in the intro we did lots of cool things this week. On Monday we went out swimming to a pool. They had a very cute kids area with a small slide and lots of other cute water things. On Tuesday we went to an indoor climbing space and the girls had a blast. They have climbed up everywhere and did really well. Afterwards we went to Mc Donald´s for fries and nuggets. What a great ending to our second vacation day. 

On Saturday we went out to a nearby parc to feed animals and check out the big playground. We went with some friends and the kids played so well together.

Misc

My favorite photo spot, a little castle nearby that has been empty for years got sold a few weeks back and they have already started renovations so I am not able to get good pictures there in the next weeks.

Fashion 

As far as fashion goes I have been a little lost but I have decided to do a 14 day old Spring Fit series.

Activities 

It was carvinal week and we headed out for the festivites on Thursday. We went as 3 witches and a little black cat. It was so adorable I just couldn´t get over how cute the girls looked. 

Misc

We got a new suit for my husband in a very chic sage green hue. It looks so pretty. I also got Easter dresses for the girls as well. Yellow tulle and bunnies. So so cute!!

The temperatures have picked up so I had my first iced coffee this week and it tasted so good.

Last week hasn´t been very interesting in terms of sharing any news with you. The weather has been really awful, lots of rain and wind so there were no outdoor activities.

It is a steady up and down. This week was very low on activites but next week is carnival week and we also have some appointments.

I wanted to wear lots of Spring colors by now but somehow I can not give up the neutrals.

The Kindergarten has a knight and castle theme through the month of February and it has been the cutest. The kids get so excited and antsy to help decorate. I mean look a t that door with a chandelier and all. How cool!!

This week has been all about food. We have been out to eat three times a week which is a lot cause I usually cook 6 days a week minus the one take-out day we have. To be honest I really enjoyed eating out cause I did not have to cook and clean up but food has gotten pretty expensive. Most of the meals are 15 Euros or over. Sometimes it is just not worth it.

Nevertheless it was Valentine´s week and I very much enjoyed all the heart things. Sweaters and onesies, love baskets and crunch. I posted my last Valentine´s reel on Saturday. Now off we go to do some carnival baking next week and maybe I am also sharing my costume next week – little hint on the side : it´ll get scary!! Tights have been the last missing piece for the look which I have ordered straight from amazon so they should make it in time. You can look at the tights here.

Meals

MONDAY – Beet root soup. I wanted to love this recipe so much cause I also recorded it for Instagram but it just wasn´t it. It as ok but my husband didn´t like it at all and I thought it would be a little tastier. Still ate it but not gonna make it again.

TUESDAY – Take-out pizza. We had dinner at my MIL´s house and they ordered pizza for everyone.

WEDNESDAY – Omelette with onions and cheddar cheese and pepperoni. My husband had a work dinner so I only made a quick girl dinner for myself. An omelette is always a great way to cook leftovers and it is a quick and easy meal option as well.

THURSDAY – Leftovers

FRIDAY – Fish and potatoes.

SATURDAY – Date night at Ontra. We got a coupon for Christmas and cashed it in for date night. Ate some great meat and had a delicious dessert.

SUNDAY – Roast and dumplings. We went out for my MIL´s birthday with the extended family and I had a roast with some dumplings. One of my favorite typical bavarian dishes.

A friend and I tried a new restaurant for breakfast this week and it was delicious. They had several different coffee concoctions, fruity juices and the most delicious breakfast I have had in a while. It is called basecoffee and located in Regensburg.

Fashion 

Still doing #nospendfebruary so I am rewearing all of my old beloved pieces and also we are still in the deepth of Winter and all that I can change are the colors and keep the warm pieces. Next week I am going to start a color challenge. Haven´t done one in a long time and it was so much fun.

Activities 

The girls dance classes started again and I was so happy cause on these cold Winter days there aren´t lots of things to do to keep them occupied. We also regularly go to our play group and it is always so much fun (mostly for the adults to enjoy their coffee hot but hey why not?!)). We had a dedicated morning were we went to see my grandma but since she is in a nursing home now we are visiting my great-aunt, a sister of hers.

Misc

It was my MIL´s 60th birthday last week and we have been invited over for coffee and cake Tuesday afternoon. She always has super cute table decor. Most pieces are from Pip Studio.

On Friday our big girl went on a play date at a trampoline parc with her friend. It was the frist time she has been out with friends. She gets so big and independent I can´t believe it.

We also started to watch Ghosts on Netflix and it is hillarious. I just love Thorfinn. For me it is the best character on the show.
