Good day to all of my lovely readers,

I am finally coming around of sharing the details of Emilia´s baptism two weeks ago. This was such an emotinal and exciting day (rather for me than for her) and so nice to spend it with family although there were still some restrictions due to stupid Covid.
Church hasn´t been a problem since we only were a small group of people but for our at home celebration we sadly had to reduce so only our parents and the godparent of Emilia have attended. All of the others got a big slice of cake to-go. We decided whether to change the date or not but I wanted to finally „get over with it“ cause we alreay had the candle and the cake ordered and her clothes would not fit in a few months.
Hopefully there won´t be many restrictions around her first birthday so we can have a big celebration.
Anyways let´s talk about the cake table I set up. I loved loved loved how it turned out. I definitely wanted to do something special for her blessing and I think the table turned out great.
First of all I started with the sequin blankets I also used for the gift table and candy bar at our wedding. I got them from etsy and they are huge and heavy and made of great quality. The other highlight on the table was the fir garland. I ordered it for the whole length of the table and added tiny twinkle lights and it just looked stunning.
The cake of course was the show stopper of the table. The cutest 2-tier cake I have seen in a while and it was really tasty too. The pink petit-fours had the symbols of the baptism candle painted on top.
To the left and right I added candle holders, tea lights, a cute picture in a beautiful frame as well as forks, spoons, napkins and plates.
Our theme has been pink and white with lots of golden accents. I personally loved it a lot and this was so much fun I am already looking forward to plan her first birthday.
