This has been a very strange week filled with great days and amazing weather as well with lots of rain and very bad news. At the moment we have two relatives at the hospital and this means endless phone calls, visits and so much more no one wants to do. But we made the best of it and still had a nice weekend.

MONDAY – Pasta Bolognese
TUESDAY – Left overs
WEDNESDAY – Ribs and potatoes – oven baked.
THURSDAY – Chinese Take-Out
FRIDAY – Date Night
SATURDAY – Meat filled noodles with scrabled eggs and bacon
SUNDAY – Chicken Parmesan

We visited a nearby old castle yesterday. It was such a cute thing to see the girls wander around and explore and find new and interesting things. They had the whole knight and castle thing at the Kindergarten for weeks so we wanted to show our big girl how a castle really looked back in the olden days.

On Friday we had time to promptly squeeze in a date night. I had some stuff in the city and afterwards we went to the Beach House – a californian cuisine restaurant. I had a chicken ceasar’s salad like always and it was so tasty.
We have been huge fans of the prime show The Wheel of Time and started watching it again after season 3 recently came out. There was almost nothing we remembered so it was a dire need.

The first rays of sunshine have been so great on our pale skin. We have waited so long for this moment. It immediately gave me a huge mood boost and made me plan lots of Spring outfits. All the lighter colors and all the Spring materials and shoes and cute accessories.
I have so much outfit inspo for you coming along and wanted to start with this adorable feminine Spring look. A blush pleated skirt and a cute knit cardigan.
The color mix of pink and green is a match made in heaven. I just love those colors paired together. Would have never thought of it.

This last week has been spring break over here and I am so glad the weather played out fine. We packed so many fun things into one week so our little ones would ´t get bored. It worked out fine but was very time consuming at stressful at times.
Spring sunsets are unreal.

MONDAY – Potatoe casserole with bacon
TUESDAY – Farmhouse potatoe salad
WEDNESDAY – Leftovers
THURSDAY – Butter noodles – sadly the girl´s most favorite food
FRIDAY – Pizza night – this is always a favorite at our home. The girls love to participate in making their own pizza and have so fun.
SATURDAY – Chicken nuggets and fries
SUNDAY – Brunch with my in-laws
I have stared a new series on my Instagram called Spring Fit where I am sharing Spring outfit ideas in the prettiest of pastell colors. I had so much fun putting these together and wearing them. So glad Spring is finally here.

As I said in the intro we did lots of cool things this week. On Monday we went out swimming to a pool. They had a very cute kids area with a small slide and lots of other cute water things. On Tuesday we went to an indoor climbing space and the girls had a blast. They have climbed up everywhere and did really well. Afterwards we went to Mc Donald´s for fries and nuggets. What a great ending to our second vacation day.

On Saturday we went out to a nearby parc to feed animals and check out the big playground. We went with some friends and the kids played so well together.

My favorite photo spot, a little castle nearby that has been empty for years got sold a few weeks back and they have already started renovations so I am not able to get good pictures there in the next weeks.
