Manhattan Browtastic versus Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer…

….

Happy Hump Day ma ladies,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/

full disclosure upfront for today´s beauty post. I am in no way a pro when it comes to brows nor am I always happy with the outcome. In my opinion my brows look a little different everyday and I have struggled with my brows as long as I can think. When I was a teenager they where way too thick and in the beginning of my twenties I had super thin brows. Now I would say they look ok.

One tool I have found which has helped me a ton with the shape and filling with my brows is an angled liner. I got both versions (the cheap and the expensive) because the tip looks exactly the same and the color on the liner as well. So I got curious and wanted to do a comparison plus it is also a save versus splurge.

Anastasia Beverly Hills versus Manhattan

Manhattan Brow´tastic – The Brow´tastic from Manhattan costs 7 Euro and is available in three colors. My shade is number 001 blonde (it is a cool ash blonde tone). The angled tip makes it super easy to apply. With the thin side contours can easily be drawn and the thicker side is great to fill in. I like the color a lot. It fills in my brows where I need it but isn´t too dark. The price point is great as well but in my opinion there is a downside as well. The tip is very soft which means when it you twist it a little too much it will break while applying. This means the pen ends soon and might not be worth its money. Other than that I think it is a great prodcut and I am probably on my tenth already.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer – The Brow Definer from Anastasia Beverly Hills costs about 27 Euro and is available in 12 colors. The color is am using is blonde (it definitely is a light blonde shade but still fills in my brows) and it is the exact same color on the stick than the Manhattan one, looks a little different on your brow after applying. I am taking a darker shade next time to have some comparison. You might not think that it is worth it cause it is definitely a lot of money for a brow pencil but hear me out first. The brand is known for its marvellous brow products and on the market for a long time. So these guys definitely know what they do and their products work. So now for the liner – the tip is a little hard so you definitely have to get used to using it or it will scratch you and the color is not transferring onto the brow as well as the Manhattan pen but this also means you will use less product and it holds up longer.

In conclusion I can not say which one is better. To be honest I thought about it, a lot. If you don´t mind spending the extra bucks on the Anastasia Beverly Hills I would say try both and decide for yourself. You can not loose either way.

Happy Monday my lovely ladies,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

it has been an eventful day today. We went to the Tegernsee near Munich today for a day trip and it was so peaceful there and pretty. I just love any kind of lake. The glittery water, the wind and the all the shades of blue. It really felt like being on vacation today.

Now that it is officially Summer, not only on the calendar but also outside we did a cute little picnic in our garden on Saturday. I wanted to do so for about two years now and finally found the time and commitment.

Summer Picnic

Having a picnic means eating great food at a surrounding that makes it tastes even better, but what to serve for a picnic. Eating outside on a blanket means you need good finger food that doesn´t spill or makes a lot of dirt if it rolls of the plate or falls on the blanket.

What to serve in terms of food

Any kinds of fruits, bread, cheese, charcuterie, dry cake, vegetables, any kind of salad in a jar, cookies and everything that will work in the heat and won´t spill.

What to serve in terms of drinks

Bubbly is great but to be honest I don´t like to drink a lot when it is this hot outside cause it makes me sweat even more. What always works is water with a splash of juice. It is refreshing, not boring at all and can be pimped with fresh fruit as well as cucumbers or herbs. But please do as you wish.

After seeing how much fun Emilia had at our picnic I am going to try and implement some onto our Summer bucket list. I mean I don´t mind enjoying good food and have her running around with such joy.

Have you guys some fun things planned for Summer time? I would love to hear some.

See you tomorrow.

here we are with another round up of #dailylooks. I have to be honest I never was a big fan of mirror selfies but I love my #reallifestyle outfits I can share with you. These kind of posts also always get lots of views so I think you are as fond of them as I am.

We had lots of water fun this week and overall since everything has finally opened up again I am smitten by all the possibilites of daily activities. My husband is at home next week and I have planned a ton of different day trips for us. Can not wait for Emilia to see all the different things.

My Amazon Buys – March…

….

Happy Hump Day,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

I finally come around to share all of my amazon finds month by month and as I am recapping them I see that there is a theme every months which is very funny. The amazon theme for the month of March has been Emilia´s first birthday and Easter.

Amazon Finds March

baby bath robe // A baby in a plush bath robe is one of the cutest things I have ever seen. I always size up when I buy baby clothes on amazon.

easter eggs // I used these to hide in the garden for Emilia´s first Easter Egg Hunt and it was a huge success. She loved the colorful eggs and they also held up really well for the price. I saved them and definitely going to use them next year.

Minnie Mouse stuffed animal // Since Emilia´s first birthday party had a Minnie Mouse theme this had to be one of her presents.

one garland // I attached the cute „one“ sign onto her high chair for the smash cake.

balloon arch // To be honest I thought this was way toughter to assemble but it was super easy just time consuming. I had it sit on in our living room for the next 4 weeks cause it held up perfectly and I loved it.

golden hooks // I have talked about these in my amazon highlight already. I use them to store my cadett caps on my closet doors. Looks really cool and works great.

balloon pumping mashine // It wouldn´t have been possible to get the balloon arch done ever. One of the best spent 12 Euro ever.

cupcake holder // Decided last minute to get this for the setup and it looked so beautiful with the Minnie Mouse cupcakes. Onyl downside is that the cupcakes are hard to remove once they are set.

linen napkins // Availabe in a tons of different colors. The quality is great for a very affordable price.

Peppa Pig Happy Birthday book // This is the cutest book I have seen in such a long time. You can actually blow out the candles – how amazing is this.

sand toys // Since one of Emilia´s birthday presents has been a sandbox she definitely needed those cute toys to play with. She can not build anything yet but loves to destroy everything.

Peter Rabbit book // The cutest book for Easter I have ever seen. It has a ton of cute pop-up features and the drawings are amazing.

Peppa´s Easter Egg Hunt // Another adorable book for Easter. Your little one will love it.

baby swing attachment // Since we don´t have anywhere else than a tree to put the baby swing we got this to protect the branches. Works really well and is super easy to assemle. One size fits all here.

I am getting vaccinated on Friday but I am hoping I will be able to shot some fresh content on the weekend. Lot´s of Summer inspo and outdoor stuff planned.

See you.
