we are starting with the most gorgeous Summer weather into this new week and I have to admit I don´t like it a bit. It could really be cooler but okay let´s take it for the next two days.
Tie-dye hasn´t been a trend for a long time. I remember making tie-dye pillow cases in my craft class in elementary school but haven´t heard much of it since. It was the print of the hippies and free spirited people as long as I knew.
The trend has been out for a few months and I finally came around to get a few pieces but ended up to only keep one thing as all the others were way to colorful and crazy. The black dress I am wearing above is from Asos and the brand is called Stradivarius. It has a black underdress cause the material itself is pretty seethrough.
Since the dress is all dark I wanted to add some color and I think the rich red shade goes perfect and also sets the perfect Fall vibe. My booties are suede and from Kiomi. The Michael Kors handbag is an oldie but a real goodie. It has served my for many years now and I still love it. My lipstick is pretty old. It has been from the MAC snowball edition from two years ago but the L´Oreal Paris Cherry is a great dupe.
My conclusion to the tie-dye trend is that it can be great but enjoyed in tiny bits and pieces, at least on my side. One piece in a whole look would probably also look great but I don´t like all the neon colors in a tie-dye pattern.
Hoping your start of the new week has been better tahn mine. I was pretty sick the whole day, don´t know what it was and I am feeling better already. Maybe sometimes our body is just off.
I have been waiting for this weekend the whole week cause we have nothing planned and can stay at home and that is what I like best. We have some painting to in our office but this shouldn´t take up to much of our time.
So the only plans we made is cook together and watch Fall/Halloween themed movies. I just can´t wait.
But let´s talk about this adorable Fall / Office look. I personally love a wide leg pant (also don´t mind the lovely plaid pattern) and a Marlene pant is the epitome of a wide leg pant. Super chic and flattering and this particular piece has also been so so comfortable.
The way I styled them makes a perfect office look for all my working girls but it would also make a great look to run errands with as it is super comfortable and if you are a little taller than me you could easily wear flats with the pants too.
Have you got any fun plans for the weekend ? Maybe we are going to a pumpkin patch next week. Still need a pumpkin pic.
welcome back to my blog and the most gorgeous Fall week we had over here. I posted a picture from my garden on stories today cause I loved my pumpkins against the backdrop of all the fallen leaves.
Anyways I am sharing a great feminine look over here for all my working ladies. A knit dress for Fall can be one of the most versatile pieces you could possible get. You can wear it with a blazer over, with different shoes like pumps, booties or boots or with blouse/shirt underneath like I did in this post.
The maroon shade of the dress is the perfect hue of brown for Fall and also for all the leopard prints. To add the feminie touch I have worn a pleated blouse with a high neck underneath. The whole style works great for a classic work environment. So for all my fancy working ladies out there this is one of THE fall outfits to wear.
I got the dress from Mango about two weeks ago and although it is on sale now cause it´s from the summer collection I think it works great for Fall. The knit is super soft and the rich brown color is the best addition for yor Fall closet.
Thankfully it is Friday tomorrow and we are continuing on painting our office. Maybe another week or two and this room will be finally done. After four years of living in the house and using it mostly as a box room. Hallelujah.
the half of the week is over and I didn´t do anything until today and have nothing planned the next days including the weekend which means we are going to stay in every day and enjoy the cool Fall weather with hot chocolate and all the delicious foods.
I also have to say sorry for the flood of picuters but I love Fall and decorating our house so I really couldn´t decide which ones to pick. So when it comes to Fall decoration I usually stay true to my theme.
It wouldn´t be Fall decor without any pumpkins and in my opinions there can´t be enough and I have some everywhere. From real mini pumpkins to creme colored ceramic colored to real looking miniatures. Pumpkins are the best.
Candles are not only great to make your house smell like the holiday you are going for but also for decoration. From Yankee Candles to Bath & Body Works there isn´t a ugly candle. Beautifully made and in so many different colors available candles are for sure an eyecatcher.
Decorating with all the common and rich Fall colors like burgundy, orange and a golden yellow provide a even more fallish surrounding. I got some adorable candle holder and also got a bunch of artificial flowers in said colors. This really helps to set the mood for all your decor.
Are you decorating seasonal or do you have the same decor year round?
