the week is starting with the perfectly sunny and mild Winter weather so at least that isn´t something to worry about. I don´t have any appointments this weeks which I think is a first in a super long time and I am really happy about it.
When I first saw this dress I was super happy and couldn´t believe that is was navy blue. I think it is such a gorgeous but totally underrated color that can easily take it on with it´s darker cousin black. Also the different shades of brown incorporated into the dress make it super chic. So I kept adding a bunch of other brown accessories to the look to round it up.
We also got our new dinning room table in on the weekend and it looks great. I am going to decorate it for our Christmas dinner the next couple of days and share on the blog next week.
I am also participating in Jackie Giardina´s #31daylipstickchallenge which is really cool. It forces you to wear a different lipstick everyday and you are not allowed to wear the same shade twice in time of the challenge. I think it is such a great idea and I own a ton of lipsticks and usually wear the same 10 over and over. Other than that I don´t have any news.
with all the upcoming holiday parties and Christmas festivities there are plenty of opportunities to dress up. And by doing so you definitely don´t want to have a boring hair style. Besides all the cute Christmas themed earrings there are plenty of hair accessories out there that work great with all the beautiful dresses.
Headbands are nothing new to us but a thin and white pearly headband is a total game changer. It is very delicate and totally festive and works great with the little black dress as well as a head to toe lace look.
My pearl headband is from H&M and was under 10 Euro.
The colorful hair clips are from Zara and come in a pack of three. I think they are super cute and that they will match a ton of other looks as they include a ton of colors. Also how wouldn´t like an extra sparkly addition to her hair?!
Also the other hair clips are equally pretty but they scream Christmas. The little red bow and the Rudolph are perfect to round-up festive looks. I love a good seasonally accessory and since I love Christmas ´tis is my season.
Do you like to go all in and get dresses up for Christmas or are you more on the casual side ?
and welcome to one of my rare Saturday posts, but the month of December is full with a ton of stuff and deadlines so I need every possible day to share something different with you.
I love reading and I am browsing amazon every few weeks to find new books for me. And since there are more of me out there I am sharing this gift guide for the bookworm today. There is a whole lot more to a book than you might imagine. Like getting comfortable with a hot beverage and cuddled up into a warm blanket with your reading glasses. I have rounded up a bunch of things you could gift.
we are on our way for some delicious Greek food with our parents but first and foremost I wanted to share this gorgeous blazer jacket with you. It won´t get more perfect for Christmas than this. The tartan pattern, the bright red and the golden buttons really tie together the whole piece.
Great to wear over a dress for an office Christmas party. It keeps you look put together but still festive enough for the Christmas theme. Or you could wear it to church on Christmas Eve over a jumper for example.
I decided to go with a grey dress to set the focus on the blazer jacket. But let´s get to the best part. It is from SheIn and under 50 Euro. I have been impressed with the fit, the feel and the quality overall.
SheIn has a bunch of different options for that would all make great pieces for Christmas parties or office parties.
Have you got any plans for the weekend? We are hosting a little holiday dinner with our close friends.
Check back for another gift guide if you are interested and still need some things.
