this sure has been a hard week for me. First of all I was still at the beginning and second of all I had to go to work in the end, even on Friday. But now it is the weekend. I am brainstorming new ideas and also new recipes. And overall there isn´t much I am doing. 

We are at a birthday party tonight. Let´s see how this turns out (starts with a soccer game on TV).

But first things first. I am already packing for our upcoming trip to Lake Garda so my bedroom looks chaotic. A lot. But my luggage from SuitSuit has arrived and I am so happy. It is big and pink (color is Pink Lady) and super affordable and I think it fits everything I want to take with me.

Also there is still some stuff I need to get. I really need a pair of great nude colored bras and I also wanted to have a pair of white statement earrings in shape of a flower or somehow white or nude.

I alos ordered some skirt from Asos (they had a 20% off day this week) but have to try them on first. I realized that in fact I don´t need anymore skirt for our vacation cause we can´t stay four weeks but Summer is starting so it probably won´t hurt.

I also finally got my kitchen ready so this is going to be the next room I am shooting, also our entry way only misses one piece which is already ordered. So happy we can finally end the renovation and decoration phase and have much more time to do other things or nothing.

I have some new recipes I want to try out first but I am pretty sure there might be a bunch which are interesting for the blog.

Food Friday – 5 ingredient Greek summer salad for a BBQ…

Hi guys,

 we are in the middle of BBQ season so I am sharing some I am sharing a bunch of easy and quick side dishes the next weeks. Today´s recipe can´t be exceeded in its simplicity. A super easy and super quick Greek Summer Salad.


You need 5 ingredients:
– 1 cucumber
– 1 glass of black olives
– a pound of tomatoes
– 1 piece of feta cheese
– 2 or 3 purple onions (I like the purple ones better for eating them raw cause they aren´t as spicy as the white ones)


Cut everything into small pieces (depends on how you like to eat it) and mix it togehter in a big bowl.


For seasoning I just used two table spoons of simple freeze-dried salad herbs and olive oil as required.
Mix everything together (that´s how you get a better feel of how much olive oil you need).

We are going to have a BBQ on Saturday so stay tuned for more recipes.

we are still in pouring rain over here. It is incredible how much it can rain. There where three thunderstorms yesterday throughout the day and a huge one in the night.

So I thought I am posting a look on the warmer side. I have worn this last weekend and loved it. A good cheetah print is something you can wear for years and years to come so I love buying pieces with this print. Not only dresses but bags and cardigans and beanies –  you get my point right!!

The color combination of tan, black and white is – I think – the most blogged color combo I have ever seen and I can totally relate to that.

I have paired the printed dress with my favorite pair of tan wedges and my beloved bamboo bag. I had worn this look to a BBQ and everybody wanted to see my bag. I still love it so much. It is pure art to me.

The hair style I am wearing in lots of my photo shoots lately is one I have seen first over on M Loves M a few month back. But now lots of bloggers love to style their hair this way. It puts such a girlie feel to your look and loosens it up a lot.

Hope you are having a great day. It feels like Monday to me today cause I am the first day back at work. But tomorrow is Friday already.

the first half of the umcomfortable work week is over (although I stayed at home with a cold) and the weather is also getting better (after quite some thunderstorms and rain) so I have a lot of positivity going on here.

I am posting another Wedding Wednesday article today. Since we are going to do some of the decoration by ourselves – cause I couldn´t find anyting near my visions – I wanted to share this super easy DIY with you guys.

You might know that we are going to get married in the middle of September so I wanted a full fall themed wedding. I love fall. It is my favorite season and of course I wanted to get married during this time.

I have lots of orange, burgundy and pumpkins incorporated into the table decoration, the wedding cake and the flowers. 

The main pieces you will need for this DIY are the windlights, candles, sand, the edging (I took 10 metres in jute with a white lace trim) and the leaves and of course a hot glue gun. 


For glueing everything together I grabbed Simone, Florian´s sister and also a bridesmaid and we had a fun Friday afternoon with lots of glue eveywhere. This isn´t as easy as it seems.


But it worked and it is super easy. First of all I marked the glasses so that the edging would be in the same hight on evey wind light. Therefore I got a yellow removable overhead marker. Worked really good. After marking the glasses I cute the edging in the size we needed it. I have two types of glasses so there had to be longer and shorter bands of jute. 


Then we started glueing. I have to admit I have never done anything with hot glue and I am also not very crafty so this was quite the challenge but I think it turned out very well. I really like them.


To make sure everybody gets the fall theme we also had some leaves in orange and burgundy and glued one onto each wind light.


The candles for the arrangements are all burgundy cause I just love this deep and rich fall color a lot. 


I think they turned out pretty well and will hopefully look pretty on the dining tables.
