Red has been huge the whole season not only because of Christmas but because it is one of the biggest color trends of this and next year. I personally love Red and wear it a lot so I am definitely glad that there are lots of pieces in one of my favorite colors.
20 Ways to wear Red
Red immediately adds that perfect pop of color to your look. No matter how you decide to wear this trendy color – for example like a whole monochrome look, a pant, skirt or turtleneck or just a touch of Red like a scarf, a handbag or a pair of shoes. A Red lips also always helps if you need to add some color and freshness to your look.
Since I have seen reader numbers increase on my blog posts a lot over the last few months I have decided it is time for a new introduction post. I am sure tons of things have changed since the last time I have done one and maybe some of you are curious how I got here, what I do and maybe want to know some random facts about me.
It is going to be 10 years since I have started this blog and oh boy if I look back I almost don´t recognize myself. In the last 10 years a lot of things have changed, good as well as bad. Some of my outfits have been so bad oh and the quality of the photography was even worse.
So let´s get this started
My name is Kati, I am 30 something years old. I have a husband and 3 little girls and we live in a small house in the suburbs. The girls are four, two and zero and the light of my life. I love staying home with them and look after my little ones.
I have designed and renovated every of their rooms. This leads you to my obsession for home decor and renovations. I have changed every room since we have moved in eight years ago and I am finally at a point where I can say that I am satisfied and I am going to leave it like that (for now, who knows what´s in ten years – just don´t tell my husband 😉 ).
We like to travel but it has definitely decreased cause it is just such a huge logistic to think of everything and pack the whole house and somehow get it all into our car but we managed to get out and somewhere else five times !!! this year. This is really huge.
My husband and I met at my last work place. He is an egineer and I was his secretary. A classic love story if you ask me. The rest was history. His family lives very close and I am definitely thankful about that cause I can take all the help I get with the girls. We wil we married for seven years in September and together for nine years. Time flies fast if you are having fun.
At the moment I am staying at home and it will probably stay this way for a lot of the next years to come but I have worked in retail for several years and after that I had lots of jobs in offices (a recycling company, a lawyer and an office for civil engineering).
I have loved fashion ever since. I would lay out my outfits on school nights so I didn´t have to think about it very long in the morning and was always looking forward to getting dressed. High heels have been one of my favorite shoe for years but now it is just not practical but I will get them back to wear at some point in my life. I was the biggest fan of The Nanny and it influenced my style a lot throughout the years. I definitely still love to get dressed and most of the days I look better than what I have planned to do but I have just so many cute things I like to wear.
Christmas is our fifth season and has always been magical to me but with little ones it is just next level. I have never loved it more than this year. Christmas with a newborn and two toddlers has been the best. The endless snuggles, the baking and their glowing eyes when we went to Christmas markets or did other fun christmassy things.
Having all girls has been the best. The two big ones are as different as siblings could be but when it get´s tough they stick together. I just love to see how their personalities comes out more and more. We have a very sensitive kindergartener who sometimes overthinks things and just wants peace all around and we have a quirly and wild two year old who loves to sing and talk all day. I am so excited to see how our little baby girl will be. Being their mom is the absolute best and there will never be anything in this world comparable to how much I love them.

Isn´t it great that Red got so popular this year. Not only is it an amazing color to wear year round, but it is the best for Christmas time. A bright Red can look very festive when paired with the right colors. Paired with greens or white for the extra christmassy touch or paired with brown or black to make it pop out right.
If you have been following my account for some time now you might have realized that I am quite fond of Christmas sweaters and I have collected a lot throughout the years.
Today I wanted to share 2 easy ways to incorporate your Christmas sweaters into your daily wardrobe. The first look would be great for an office look.
2 Ways to style your Christmas Sweaters
The corderoy pants in a dark green match the colors of the nutcracker sweaters perfectly. Add a blazer and booties plus a work tote and you are good to go to the office.
For the second look I went with a Christmas tree sweater and a knitted skirt. I have added a plaid scarf to the look and a bright green handbag to make it extra christmassy.
