Coastal Scents – Go Palette Cairo

Hi Guys

here is a quick review about the coastal scents „ Go palette „ – Cairo

It is one of the small palettes Coastal Scents has. Only has twelve colors. The usual palettes have 88 colors or 78


The colors are warm tones of brown from light to dark. 2 light shades for highlighting and three dark – almost black – ones. They are separated in matte and shiny glittery colors. I like Coastal scents eyeshadows a lot. They stay a long time when your wear them and colors get so intense when you apply them with a wet brush.


Here is a closer look on the colors . 
Row one: first two are matte, second two are shiny
Row two: all shiny 
Row three: all matte

Shabby chic – Getting some decoration for my living room

Hi Guys
I started decorating my living room – after I have been thinking a long time about what style I want to take – and now  I  am totally into this shabby chic thing. New furniture which looks like it´s really old. Maybe you can call it vintage look too. Haven´t been so obsessed with any kind of furnishing I have ever had.


The table is big in comparison to my older one but I like it a lot. I also got a matching carpet for underneath but that shouldn´t be the focus of the picture. The surface has a light structure.

The two candlesticks and the bowl are from IKEA. Love it when it comes to decoration stuff. 
The next interieur stuff is standing on top of my TV wall. It isn´t so high so I had enough space to place some great items.

I found the clock at an online shop. Saw it and loved it. Purchasd it immidiately. It has an iron frame in black and the clock itself is painted in a dirty white color. The pained fonts and numbers are partly faded.

Those other candlesticks from the pic are also from IKEA, but they are made of glass. They have different structures from bottom to top. I think they look great especially with different colored candles in them. The boxes on the right are empty, they are only for decoration. That is a nice and cheap way to get a some highlights in your living room. You can buy them in almost every gift store.

The wreath is made of wood and colored with a matte white glaze. The wood fits great into the shabby theme. I am still searching for a nice wooden tray.

The plastic ivy was a must have for me. I don´t know why but flowers and plants don´t grow at my place. They don´t survive a long time, so I gave up und started to buy fake plants. The picture frame and the flowerpot are also IKEA. (my parents on the picture)

More candles – seems like I like candles 😉 –

Coconut Oil – Almost for everything

Hi Guys

today just a quick and simple post about something really great and for me indispensable.

Coconut Oil

In my opinion it is the most versatile product I have ever seen. You can use it for cooking and backing but that is not the reason why I am using it. First of all I use it for the body as a body oil. It makes the skin so soft and the smell is incredible. It also lasts a long time. And you can use it for your hair after washing it or after blow drying too. Works good for it,  but be careful with the amount you take. It only needs a little or your hair doesn´t look fresh anymore.

At the moment it is a real hype about this coconut oil. It has been sold out for sooooo long. I almost went to every drugstore in my town and finally I found a store which had it. Bought a lot of them because I think it is going to be sold out again very soon.



So that has officially been my pick of the month.

I like this dress a lot. It has a special backside with this collar like it is from a grecian toga. A light dress for sommer and the best is it is very versaitile. You can dress it up or down. It works for both : day and nighttime. That has been a daytime outfit.

Shoes old but still awesome

Here is one I had worn on a date. Love the A line style and the pattern and it has little black pearls on the carriers. The small clutch – maybe it is even too small for a clutch – is H&M and  it glitters all over. Shoes are my favorite black ones. They have metall plates and sequins all over the straps. Only wear them on evenings.  The watch is Omeaga, modell constellation with a black dial.

So here is the last ouftit for todays post I am showing you. Had worn this to work this week. Worn this belt to it to set some focus on the waist and to split the dress up a little – hope you know what I mean 🙂 – and wearing my only white bag as usual. The wedges are super high but soooo comfy so soft to walk in. A great pick.
