I am officially five days away from our vacation but I am not quite sure if I will survive until then cause it is going to be the hottest week ever with temperatures of 38° C. Why on earth ?
But anyways I wanted to use the hot weather and talk about this seersucker blazer and the material in general since it fits the season like no other.
So what is seersucker:
Seersucker or railroad stripe is a thin, puckered, all-cotton fabric, commonly striped or chequered, used to make clothing for spring and summer wear (this is what Wikipedia says).
It is super comfortable, light and breezy for summer and I also get major sailing vibes from the adorable striped pattern. I paired it with a dark blue denim skirt and kept the rest of the color theme pretty simple too. White, blue and cognac brown – a color pairing for the books. Always chic.
The shell earrings are a huge trend right now and add to the maritime look. I also got a differnt pair of shell earrings. So in love with the earring trend but not with the necklace / bracelet pieces, anyone else? It just reminds me to much of my vacations as a child and I wasn´t always to thrilled about them cause it was always my parents and I. No other children to play with.
What do you think about seersucker pieces for summer? I might indulge myself to a seersucker dress ?
