Diaper Bag Organization for a Toddler…

Having a toddler of two years now doesn´t mean I am carrying less with me than having a newborn baby. Although the things are really different a toddler definitely requires a lot of stuff too.

Especially when you have an active one like we do. I always have a change of clothes for Emilia with us as well as a towel, some burp clothes, lots of wipes and snacks. Having all things diaper change with us hasn´t changed, only the size of the diapers.

To be honest I have tried a fair share of diaper bags and non-diaper bags I wanted to make work but haven´t been very satisfied with either solution. Most of the diaper bags are just too small and I can not fit all the things in there and that totally annoys me. Then I got an insert for the Neverfull (I have the large one) but this wasn´t the perfect solution as well and I didn´t like it as much as I wished cause I wanted a bag that closes with a zipper.

Then I have found out about the MC Wallace but I was hesitant at first cause it is pricey but the pros definitely outweigh the cons. It is durable, lightweight, easy to clean, big enough to fit all of our stuff and available in lots of colors.

My model is the MC Wallace Large MetroTote in color Magnet. I do not have the Deluxe Edition cause I don´t need the shoulder straps as the handles are wide enough to wear over the shoulder.

I got the dark grey color cause it matches our stroller really good but I was eyeing with the shiny golden color as well. The Metro Tote closes with a zipper and stays closed on its own which I appreciate very much. It fits lots of Emilia´s stuff and will also come in very handy when we have to carry baby no. 2´s things as well.

So far I have never looked bag and didn´t regret getting it at all. It really is a great bag and would also make an amazing bag for a weekend away or for travelling on a plane. It still looks brand new although we use it every day.

How I organize our diaper bag

As far as organizing goes I love to use those document folders that close with a zipper. I got different sizes for to store and organize all the different things in the bag. I hate searching  a bag up and down for things. This is really irritating for me and makes me super angry.

To make it even easier to find stuff (even for the husband) I got a bunch of cute little sticker tags from an etsy shop and I definitely love how it turned out. I got one for snacks, books, pens and cards, extra clothes, wipes and small medical things.

Pink Midi Dress…

….

How adorable is this pink midi dress ??!! All of a sudden I just love to wear pink. The last years I haven´t really gotten any new pink additions for my closet but to be honest I just don´t know why because this year I am totally into it.

PInk is a bright and fun color and as great nudes are sometimes it just has to be some color especially for Spring and Summer. A midi dress has always been a huge favorite of mine. There is something about the length that is elegant and feminine but still playful.

I have worn this exact combo on Easter Sunday and it held up pretty well. Lots of space for the baby and brunch and overall a great color combination I was very pleased with.

There are still 6 to 7 weeks left until the baby is here so I am trying really hard to find cute looks and so far it hasn´t been a huge problem but there are days in the week I just want to stay in my nightgown cause it is just so comfy. Maybe all my mamas out there can relate.

Colorful into Spring…

….

The Easter holidays are over and somehow I am really glad cause this was the last big event on my list (except some small home projects) before having our baby girl.

It is getting harder to get dressed everyday but I am still finding cute things althought two thirds of my closet won´t fit anymore.

Dresses are the easiest things to wear for me right now so I am really happy that the weather is nice enough to do so. I haven´t been this much into colors since Summer probably but it is really nice and all the colors are totally boosting my mood.

So this dress is right up my alley. All the beautiful colors in one dress. Paired with solid colored accessories you can wear it for a lot of ocassions and also into Summer.

This particular dress I am wearing above has a striped pattern but flowers or any other patterns will do as well and are super trendy these days. Wild colors and patterns are THE thing for Spring and Summer.

Just add a light jacket over your dress and some closed toe shoes and you are dressed for chilly mornings or evenings.

Maritime Flair for Spring…

….

Striped sweaters are the essence of Spring/Summer and the number one piece for a maritime styling. A striped sweater definitely has become a closet staple and I am sure most people own a striped shirt or sweater. There are plenty ways to style a striped sweater for example a pair of denim shorts would be cute as well but it has been pretty cold that day so I went with a pair of skinny jeans and my favorite espadrilles.

A straw handbag or a bag including a straw element always adds such a summery vibe to an outfit and that is why I love all these kinds of handbags all Spring and Summer long. The one I am wearing above is is from Gina Tricot but Mango and H&M has cute pieces every year.

Also how adorable would this sweater look over a slim dress. Perfectly to wear over the shoulders or as a sweater on chillier evenings. It told you it would be a super versatile piece.

I recently got this adorable sweater in from Trendyol, an online fashion store with cute basics but also the most extraordinary pieces you could find.
