Happy Thursday friends and happy Valentine´s day,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

luckily my last work day for this week today (I am still sick and it takes me forever to get up and running in the morning, should have stayed at home the rest of the week). So we are going to stay in this evening and get a load of delicious chinese food. It is probably all I can think about today.

And since I have nothing planned for tomorrow I am finally going to tackle another section of my dressing room, after sleeping in (absolutely need that). The cardigan section. A cardigan is your perfect friend for upcoming spring weather (it is already around the corner friends – better weather !!) as you can wear it with and over almost everything so I want to know exactly what I have and what needs to be washed or fixed or donated.

The Look

But for today I have another winter inspired look (depends on where you are reading my blog from to dress accordingly to the weather). This was a kind of an untypical combination for me. Green and black but I loved it and it worked. I was wearing an all black look (black tights and booties, black faux leather skirt and black shirt) and paired it with a black and white faux fur vest and a fun green and black striped silk scarf.

So guys we only have three or so cold weather looks to go and then it is going to be spring all over the blog. Color explosions, pastell frivolities and so much more.

Winter Style // Plaid poncho under 30 Euro + leather leggings…

plaid poncho SheIn / leather leggings sold out similar here and here / Michael Kors handbag / beanie Asos sold out similar here and here

….

Hi guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

I have a few wintery posts left to post but I am already full on spring outfit planning. I just can´t stand the snow and ice anymore (have a look at yesterday´s post) and as much as I love to include a  black piece of clothing into my look I am pretty over it.

Nevertheless I wanted to share this adorable plaid poncho with you I got the other months. I is super soft and I have won it several times since I got it. Perfect to throw over and feel cozy.

I paired it with a matching beanie and my beloved dark red Michael Kors handbag. Also a pair of leather leggins is great to wear under a poncho.

Are you already in spring fever and craving better weather ? Hopefully we get there soon. It is supposed to get better on the weekend so I hope the snow is going to finally melt away. So it is going to be spring looks next week.

Also I am finally feeling better after being so sick one week. I really can´t remember the last time I have been so sick. Stupid flu season.

So have a nice evening and speak to you again tomorrow.

Casual Valentine´s Day Style…

Hello my colorblocking friends,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

I know not everyone has to work on Valentine´s Day or has a strict dresscode at the office so this look is for you. A casual Valentine´s day look including red and a bold shade of pink.

The Look

I got this sweater two weeks ago and I love it. It is perfect for Valentine´s. It is super soft and fits true to size (wearing a size 36). The brand is called manguun collection and it was also super affordable. You could also easily wear it with a pencil skirt and a blazer jacket to smuggle it into your office surroundings. I have paired it with a little matching bag I got two years ago. It has such a great size for a date night bag but also to wear it as a crossbody. The lipstick I am wearing in the pictures above is called Paris Cherry and it is from L´Oréal but I think you could also wear Rebel from MAC to match the color of the sweater. I paired it with pants to keep it super casual (and it was also freezing cold this day) and to add a little fanciness I went with a pair of leopard print booties.

Do you have any plans for Valentine´s day yet ? We are going to stay in this year and treat ourselves to a huge pizza and some chinese food from some restaurants we get food frequently. I have to admit I am really looking forward to it. Lighting my favorite candles and having a glass of bubbly.

I am so looking forward to it. It is one week away from now. Be sure to check back tomorrow for more Valentine´s day content, also check out my Gift Guide and if you need some sweet treats my Red Velvet Cupcakes or Raspberry Macarons post.

Also I didn´t see that my belt wasn´t tight enough during the shoot, but I think you can all imagine how it looks properly worn.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

6 things we can learn from the Mary Poppins Returns movie…

Hi guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

anyone arround who loves Disney? I just adore it. Every movie, every charakter, every park and every shop. I have to see it. Everytime we visit a new city and we pass a Disney store I am the first one in and could stay there for a long time.

When we where in London two years ago it was the release of the remake of the Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson as Belle and the whole Disney store was changed into showplaces of the movie. Didn´t want to leave ever.

Some weeks ago we finally went to see the new Mary Poppins Returns movie in the cinema and it was great. Not only do I truly love Emily Blunt as an actress who fit the role perfectly, I also love how drastically a Disney movie can change your emotions by watching it and not only this.

You can also learn a lot from every Disney movie about life and value and moral and treating other people. So I am sharing 6 things I recognized while watching with you today.

# 1 Be kind // Spreading kindness is absolutely essentially when it comes to interacting/socializing with other people. It really doesn´t cost a thing but can help so much. Whether it is careerwise or for personal matters. You will always ALWAYS meet people twice in your life – you probably don´t know where or when – but wouldn´t it be better if you are meeting on a positive initual situation than on anger or dislike.

#2 Never stop dreaming // You are never too old or too young to have dreams. There will always be the dream smashers who don´t believe in your ideas or thoughts but guess what, not everyone is like that. You have to stick to your convictions like other people before you did or there would be no Starbucks and no Harry Potter. So go on and chase after the stars to pursue your dreams. Everything is possible.

#3 Don´t stuck your nose into things which are none of your business // This is relevant for personal matters as much as for business. Of course we all gossip, if you admit it or not but everyone somehow is nosy and wants to know everything. Keep in mind that knowing too much of a certain thing can also bring big trouble and or real consequences. If someone at all cost doesn´t want you to know something just leave it be. It can only make things worse.

#4 There are always people out there who want your bad // Not everyone you meet on your way through life will be nice and have your best interest at heart. There are lots of people who only do things which which will be good for themselves no matter the cost or the trace of corpses they leave behind. They use you or play you like a foo. If someone turns out to be this kind of person make a big turn around cause many people are only looking out for themselves and this is getting worse and worse.

#5 Don´t judge a book by its cover // This is as old as time but still true. A first impression is important but that´s also all you have. Take some time to get to know the other person a little better before judging. I know we all mostly judge before we question someone/something but this really is something worth the effort. You never know who you possibly could get to know without.

#6 Never loose your inner child // Having fun and being silly from time to time is not wrong at all. Some adults are so serious that it is almost tiring talking to them. These days everyting we do and see (work, news) is so gravely. You have to provide your own fun and don´t take everything and also yourself too serious otherwise this will steal your joy and drown you in fear and resentment.

Have you seen the movie allready ? Do you like Emily Plant as Mary ? Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
