It is the most wonderful time of hte year and what makes it even more pretty – an amazing twinkling and glittering whimsical Christmas tree in your house. It makes it more homes and also adds to that special pre-Christmas feeling.

The Christmas tree is the heart of our home during Christmas time and every day I can not wait to light it up when it gets dark outside in the evenings.

There are several ways to decorate your tree and and I am sharing how I do it today as well as the items I am using. Our tree is from Fairy Trees and I have ordered it off of amazon. It is the flocked tree in 180 cm.

How I decorate our Christmas tree…

– first of all I put it together and fluff it out as much as possible / I am looking from different angles so I can find every area that still needs fluffing

– after that I vaccum cause the flocked trees loose a lot of artificial snow each year

– then I am putting the tree skirt under

– now it is time to decorate / I start with my ornaments

– followed by my garland (if I had a super long garland in one piece I would put the garland onto the tree before the ornaments put these are just pieces I drapped over in the front of the tree)

– now I am adding special ornaments like the pink glitter poinsettias and the glitter bows and the tree top

– the lights are the last thing I clip onto the tree and then I am ready to celebrate it

DIY Monster Bait (Halloween Crunch)…

….

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

Halloween  might be one of the best holidays cause it is all about sweet treats. Since I am not a huge chocolate bar fan I decided to adjust my crunch recipe to match the spooky season and maybe catch some little monsters in my home.

I have made crunch for almost every holiday now but I have to admit Halloween and Christmas are the two most fun.

It is fairly easy to make the crunch. Just add all the materials into a bowl and mix it with white chcolate (you could also use dark chocolate but in my opinion the white one looks better with all the sprinkles and decor). I have used little pretzels, macadamia nuts and cereal.

For decoration I went with little chocolate chunks, M&M´s and sugar eyes. The orange and the candy eyes are what make it truly a Halloween crunch.

For me the upcoming holidays and seasons are the best of the year. I do not mind warm weather and flowers at all but there is something so magical and whimsical about misty Fall mornings, falling leaves, the cool and fresh air and all the pumpkin decor. Taking a walk with a hot beverage and watching the Fall foliage will be something I enjoy forever.

Toddler Halloween Tea Party…

….

With Halloween coming closer day by day and Emilia at an age where she is able to understand what happens I wanted to explain this festivity to her but since most of it are way to scary, bloddy or else I decided to go with a cute Halloween Tea Party appropriate for a toddler.

I have found this adorable childrens plate set on amazon and thought this would be a great starting point from where I can build up my Halloween Tea Party table setting. The cute colors hit the right spot as well since we are in a total pink and blush phase at the moment plus kittens are always a good choice with Emilia.

The coffee table was the perfect size for the set up. The right height and not to small or too big. To add some drama (cause I love a dramatic setting) I went with an all black sequin table cloth we also used for Emilia´s Minnie Mouse birthday party. Some other spooky elements I loved were the bat balloon, the little ghosts, the black candles and the adorable checkered pumpkin.

Are you celebrating Halloween with your little ones in any way ??
