Valentine´s Day is right around the corner so I hope you all have some nice things planned. We are going out for dinner. Haven´t been alone for a date night in a long time. 

Recently my outfits are getting lighter in material as well in color cause I am so happy for Spring to arrive. Not my favorite season but I am definitely happy for the weather to get better and the temperatures to rise a little.

Since my bump is pretty big around this time I definitely enjoy wearing dresses theses days. They are loose around the bump. My little girl in there does not like too tight clothing. She will start kicking immediately which in my opinion is the cutest thing.

Also isn´t it amazing I made another entire week of getting dress in other pieces than sweats !!! I mean I definitely have earned som applause 🙂

Valentine´s Day Candy Board…

With Valentine´s Day around the corner sweets are found at each and every supermarket so I went along with it and created a cute and sweet candy board for Valentine´s Day or Galentine´s Day.

I love making holiday inspired boards and table scapes to this was right up my alley and although I can not eat most of it cause of my gestational diabetes I enjoyed it very much to make. 

To make it Valentine´s Day apporopriate I added as much pink and red candy as I could possible find (not an easy task in Germany I might add). 

This board would make such a great spread for colleagues, a cute board for a Galentine´s Day party or just a sweet treat for yourself. 

When I make a candy board I always start with the cute little bowl where I put small items like M&M´s, little chocolates or things like that. 

After that I like to put all kinds of cookies and chocolate bars on the board to get some straight lines and after that I fill all the wholes up with soft candy like marshmallows or gummy bears. One things I also always love to add is something salty like popcorn or pretzels. 

I used a wooden board I have had for many hours but you could take any you like. It just has to fit the amount of your products. 

The cardigan I am wearing here is from SheIn. They have such a great variety of cute and affordable cardigans for every kind of holiday.

Bootcut Leggings styled for Spring…

I can not tell you how happy I am that the bootcut is back – everywhere. I remember that I had a pair of black bootcut leggings when I was ten years old and I loved them so much, I have worn them until they were practically non-exixtestent and I have never forgotten about them. 

So now 22 years later I still can´t stop thinking about that perfect pair of pants and now you can guess how happy I was when I saw that bootcut leggings are back. They are flattering and comfortable and super versatile. 

I have paired mine with a cute sweater and a denim jacket, a little Spring inspired cause I am so over Winter now. The pant I am wearing is brown but I also have the black one cause they are so good also they fit me with flats and heels. 

In my opinion a bootcut leggings is a lot dressier than it´s skinny cousin. Just think it ellaborates your look immediately.

Making little holiday themed bags for Emilia has really gotten one of my favorite things. Whether it is for Easter, Halloween or even for the upcoming Valentine´s Day I enjoy finding cute theme matching pieces for her basket so much.

What to put into a Valentine´s Day Basket for your Toddler

I always try to mix it up the best I can with lots of different things. Now that she is older and can interact with more things it got a lot easier for me to find cute stuff for Emilia´s Valentine´s Day basket.

What I got for her basket this year is a cute purple hoodie from H&M and a yellow glitter handbag as well. Since she loves dancing and her Tony Box I also put a new Tony into her basket and some other little things like a bracelet, hair clips, hair ties and a Minnie Mouse hair brush. I added a fruit pouch as well as some bubbles to blow. 

In my opinion it is a nice mixutre of different things and she will probably enjoy it a lot. Another thing I always try to add is a themed book and also ordered one but I simply forgot to add it.

The cute basket is from etsy – you can shop it here. It come all the way from Morocco but arrived within a week so that was pretty fast.
