one day left and the weekend is here. I feel like I am the most productive on the weekend cause my husband is home so I can get stuff done besides watching Emilia plus we are doing everything together on the weekend and that is definitely more fun.
As you might know from previous home decor posts I love to create tablescapes. Personally one of my favorite point when it comes to entertaining in our home. But sometimes as there isn´t a special ocassion or season it needs to be something simple but beautiful that fits in seamlessly with your other decor.
This fun gingham and eucalyptus mixture fits the bill. The cotton napkins are available in a ton of different colors on amazon so there should be a matching dining room color for almost everyone.
If you want this to work year round it is better to work with faux plants cause they don´t need to be freshened up on a short base. Pampas gras is the latest trend and fulfills this purpose perfectly.
Another addition I always love are candles. Create and interesting space by playing with the heights of the candles and the candlesticks itself.
Since everything else is laid back in color and material I went with fancy glass ware to bring on the glam. Glasses with golden rims look super luxurious but are also functional and pretty as well. These are from H&M and very low maintenance. I just clean them in the dishwasher and they are good to go.
Do you love hosting guests as well ? I can´t wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas time. I love to set up Fall table decor with all the pumpkins and Fall leaves.
