the days are getting cooler as the week progresses which means you can finally wear all your Fall pieces or at least a majority of them. One color which caught my eye besides brown which came finally back from its hibernation is olive green. I know that the color of the year is living coral but to be honest I haven´t seen that much coral not even in the summer.
So why is olive green the color to wear this Fall…
Olive green is a great color for everyone. It suits most of the skin tones which is always great for a color and for people who want to wear it. Another thing I love about olive green is its versatility. You can pair it with most of the existing colors and it looks great. Also I have never seen so many clothings you can get in this color.
So for this look I have paired off-white with olive green and it looks great. The white adds such a fresh character to the dark green hue which makes it a perfect combination for fall since it hasn´t be to dark now.
Do you have spotted your Fall favorite color already ?
I am sharing a not so typical but still fall appropriate look in today´s post including a pair of jeans and sneakers. I have got this pair of leopard print platform sneakers last year but didn´t come around to wear them. But this year seemed to be perfect chance. Maybe this is complete nonsense to you but I often get things I love but they need to be in my closet for sometime until the right moment and perfect outfit to pair them with comes along. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
Anyways, let´s talk about the look. Cognac brown is still a huge color for Fall and Winter and it should not be missed in anyones closet. The variety of colors it can be paired with is just unbeatable. For this look I went with black and white and a pair of medium denim.
Pairing different patterns in one look might sound intimidating at first but for some prints it works fine to be paired together like leopard print and stripes.
I do have so much Fall stuff planned for you guys in the next weeks. Going to share the perfect table decor for Fall next week and the first of two make-up tutorials is coming along your way this way plus a lot of Fall inspired outfits.
Have a look at yesterday´s post for all the affordable Fall fashion inspo.
As always thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.
I can´t wait for the weather finally to cool down and to wear and style all things fall. I personally love to shop at the online shop SheIn. They have a ton and by saying a ton I really mean it. The variety on things is incredicle so you will find something everytime you visit their site. At least I do. 😉
And just a little tip: always have a oook at the meassurements to get the right sizing as it can be tricky on their site and you should have a great experience shopping the site.
So in today´s post I am sharing some pieces I got for fall and I can´t wait to wear. Of course I am adding all the pieces right under the pictures for you.
So since hair is one of the first thing everybody sees you definitey want it to be healthy and shiny and looking it´s best as often as possible. For this I am finally sharing my hair care routine after trying many products and improving here and there.
I am washing my hair about two to three times a week, and I am using the Maria Nila Sheer shampoo and conditioner. Lately I have been looking for more nature beauty produts I can incorporate into my daily/weekly routine. The set is silicone and paraben free and also helps to take away the yellow of my blonde to keep the color on the cooler side. The smell is really good. I have been trying to keep the shampoo on as long as the conditioner cause in my opinion this helps even much better to get out the yellowness.
So for the other days of the week were I definitely avoid to wash my hair, dry shampoo is my hero. I have tried lots of different brands and my two favorite ones are from Batiste. First of all the hydrating one and second of all the blonde shade dry shampoo. I like it a lot because the smell is great and it isn´t to white so it really isn´t to hard to let the residues dissapear.
For taking care of my hair – it can be dry at times and dull cause of all the prouct at the end of a week and also of the coloring – I am using the Olaplex No. 3 as a mask before washing my hair. I let it set for about 30 minutes before washing my hair. It really has made a difference and I am stocking up on it everytime it goes on sale somewhere.
Most of the times after washing I let my hair air dry to avoid using to much heat cause I still love to style it. So I just put in my Morrocan hairoil into the tips of my hair to keep them hydrated and shiny.
Afterwards, if I am styling my hair, I use my beloved T3 curling wand. Most of my hairstyles include curls so this one comes in pretty handy. I have had a ton of curling wands. Bad ones, okay ones but the T3 is awesome. It is the one thing that comes closest to a professional tool. I love the design and the color. I got the wand with the interchangeable barrels and most of the time I am using the medium size. I think my curls are more pretty and last twice as long.
Other tools I love for styling my hair. The Wet Brush has been a real hair safer for combing through my hair after showering. It really doesn´t hurt at all and saves my hairs. The Invisibobble hair ties are pretty old but I still love them and use them frequently. They are just the best of the ring hair ties and I personally love that they came out with a velvet scrunchie line. Leopard love around here.
Products for after styling and refreshing:
Hairspray // The L´Oréal Elnett Paris hairspray has been a favorite of mine for nearly ten years. I just love everything about it and always reach for it again after mine is empty. They also offer a limited edition glitter hairspray during Christmas time which is bomb.
Redken ShineFlash shinespray // Using this as a finishing spray after I am done styling has worked like a charm. It gives my hair a light and glossy finish which I totally love and makes your hair look super luxe.
Texturizing Spray // I have been trying the Tony & Guy Sky High Volume spary because it was literally one of the only affordable texturizing sprays to use on dry hair. I have used it a few times now and it is all right. Costs about 15 Euro and definitely saves your second and third day hair.
Living Proof Anti-Frizz spray // Great product for these hot and humid summer days. Keeps your straight hair straight and sleek.
Heat protection spray // I have been using this heat protection spray for curling my hair for quite some time and I think it works pretty good. Also it is supposed to hold your curls longer and that is not a bad thing.
These are my favorite and most used hair care products at the moment. Do you have any holy grail products you need to use? I would love to know.
