Fall Decor with adorable TK Maxx Finds…

welcome to one of my rare Saturday posts but since I got so much Fall things done this week I also wanted to share my FAll decor with you. I finally came around to get everything decorated how I wanted it to be and I have to say every year it lools a little better than the year before.

First of all I have to admit I love to decorate with pumpkins. They are my favorite Fall sign and there are plenty of them in our home this season. Most of these extraordinary pieces are from TKMaxx. My husband always says it is the worst shop of shops because it is stuffed with „junk“ but I love it. You can find the greatest most beautiful pieces at TK Maxx. Pieces that not everybody has.

For the first time ever I got a skull and in my opinion it is adorable. Also the little bats I added onto the mirror of our entryway are right up my alley. It makes it a little more Halloween appropriate and I just love that.

Candles are another great way to decorate, add color, a theme and of course a great smell into your home. I love all things Yankee and Village candle. The big jars with all the adorable names and pictures on the front (such a sucker for cute packaging over here).

Another thing I always do is to change the cushion covers. I think it adds extra festivity to the room and also a splash of color.

Most of our decor is from amazon and TK Maxx. If you are shopping TK Maxx make sure to visit soon cause the good stuff is always selling out fast.

Are you a decor lover or do you maintain your year round decor and just add a Christmas tree for example. I went with an all orange decor theme for our living room but a neutral Fall decor would be gorgeous as well and not as notably.

Fall Favorites from Amazon…

I can´t believe it is that time of the year. I started with my Fall decor today but wanted to share a few things I ordered beforehand because although they are all from amazon some take longer to arrive.

Fall is my favorite season and at the beginning of August I am always getting giddy and looking forward for a change of season. First of all I love pumpkins and orange so Fall decor is everything I need plus I am no fan of the heat so cool and fresh breezes are what I can´t wait for.

Pumpkin kitchen towels // Even if they don´t fit into my kitchen I had to have these. I mean it has pumpkins all over after all am I right?!

Hello Fall sign // My Fall decor theme for this year will be orange gingham so when I saw this wooden sign it fit the bill perfectly.

Leave garland // Since I still haven´t found a sidebord for our living room I went with this cute leaf garland for our fireplace. It will look super cute decorated I am very sure.

Fall Door mat // The cutest door mat I have found. Love everything with pumpkins.

Cauldron mug // This has been a favorite of mine and I have used it for years now. I mean how cool is a cauldron as a mug.

Gingham door mat // Gingham is the perfect pattern for Fall and this will be the mat underneath my „Home“ door mat.

Happy Fall sign // Gonna place this outside of my door. This will blend in so great with all the other decor.

Fox mug // Isn´t it adorable !!!

Cushion cover pictures // I just love everything Fall related and these where so cute I had to get them too. I mean you can never have to many cushions am I right.

Cushion cover orange gingham // A 100% fit for my Fall theme.

Black candle holders // Add a little Halloween feel to the whole decor.

All the things which are marked pink are currently in my cart or are already here and waiting to be placed. I am going to start decorating tomorrow and I am going to take you with me on my Fall decor journey via Instagram.

what is your favorite room in your home ? I think mine might be the kitchen (or the living room). I love to cook and try out new recipes also hosting is a great pleasure of mine. It is where the family comes together waiting for a homecooked meal to be ready.

I have prepared dozens of meals for different festivities and holidays in our kitchen. Hopefully there will be more opportunities this year. It hasn´t been have the fun since Covid.

Our kitchen has a little coffee corner which is the first stop in the mornings. I make some coffee for myself and prepare Emilia´s tea.

We have a large window sill behind the sink and of course like every free corner of my home it is decorated as well. The color theme of the kitchen is black, white, gray and red and I love it. First I had green decor cause that´s what I took from my old appartment with me but I was never happy with it.

Next is the sink and then come all the kitchen appliances we have. A microwave is a must around here cause there are always plenty of leftovers. We do have the Soda Stream for fresh sparkling water cause I really love it sparkly and that is the fastest and easiest way. I do have a lot more of appliances but they are stored away in the cabinets to prevent clutter.

Next is a cute plant pot where I store all of my kitchen utensils like laddles and all the items I need on a daily base and then comes a very interesting tray with our favorite red wines. Currently it is the Carnivor, a Cabernet Sauvignon we really love.

To the right side is a small shelf where I store all of my cookbooks and other items I need to host dinners like cake stands and carafes.

The bar are has been used very frequently buy my husband and I but since Emilia is here we eat all of our meals in the living room together.

I can not believe I am finally sharing our updated kitchen decor after about 4 !!! years. I really don´t know why I didn´t came around earlier but it just wasn´t something I thought about.

Best of Fashion Books // to read + coffee table styles…

I love home decor and many of my set-ups include a good amount of coffee table books. They are perfect to add a pop of color or to get different heights for your home decor.

But how great would it be if you could actually get some information out of your book. I personally love all of the Megan Hess books, not only are they beautifully drawn but they are also very informative on certain pieces and styles. Another one I really loved is the „How to look expensive“ book. It shares many great tips regarding beauty and fashion on how to save money and stay low maintenance while looking great.

Now if that isn´t two birds with one stone am I right?! All of the books I own are very affordable but there are some which cost up to 100 of Euro.

So how do I style the coffee table books? I either put two on top of each other and put a big decor piece like a lamp or a vase on it or I use a bigger book and place a picture a high slim vase and a candle in a jar with mathes beneath. There are hundreds of options to style your books.

Are you love coffee table books as much as I?
