Eveyone has it, the most feared drawer in your home- the junk drawer. It is placed mainly in the kitchen, some have another one in their office. We had three in our kitchen and I hated them. Some item was always blocking the drawer so we could almost never open it properly. That get´s the most of me when I need access to get something and am stuck and probably breaking my nail by trying to enter it.

Now this is the past in our household. I conquered the junk drawer and organized the heck out of them, got rid of crap and also ordered little helper from amazon.

The Cold Weather Edit – Coats and Jackets to wear now…

We have had the worst Winter weather the last couple of days and tomorrow even the schools and kindergarten are closed. We are making the most out of it and having a pajyama and hot chocolate day I guess.

I do not like snow but to be honest I love layering and I have a ton of different coats cause I just love a great piece of outerwear that much. To be honest my classic wool coat is my go-to. It just fits with my whole wardrobe. The other coat I have gotten my money´s worth out is the white faux fur coat. It gives serious mob wife vibes and I am here for it.

The week has started with a visit to the dentist on Monday morning. Not the greatest start if you ask me but at least is was a over in about 20 minutes. Other than than it was the first official week after Winter break so Kindergarten has started again and all the other activites we have on our plate. Definitely nice to have our schedule back but I have enjoyed our slow days a lot as well as having Emilia home the whole day.

 

Meals 

It was a pretty good week in terms of easy and quick family meals. I have incorporated some new recipes and we liked everything we made. The Pork Sandwiches definitley were my highlight of the week.

Monday – Milk Rice

Tuesday – Pork Sandwiches

Wednesday – Chicken Skewers and Potatoe Salad

Thursday – Leftovers

Friday – Girl Dinner

Saturday – Oven Cheese and Ciabatta

Sunday – Tomatoe Salad 

Fashion

In my opinion it was a very fashionable week and I have loved all of my outfit choices. I try to incorporate vibrant colors on the days I feel blah or the weather is very depressing. Also I am looking so much forward to Spring cause who wouldn´t like warmer temperatures ??!!

Activities

It was a super cold week so every attempt to get out for some fresh air immediately failed. -10 degrees are just too cold for small children and the wind and snow makes it even colder. So we had lots of fun in our playroom (going to do a reveal soon). thank god for that. 

Misc

I have finished some little things regarding our playroom so I can hopefully share it next month with you and on another note how cool can a little toddler look – I mean patent boots and bootcut pants !!!!

Having a  girl comes with many amazing things. All the cute outfits, the little dresses and pink things. Playing with dolls and dressing up as princesses but at some point you´ll start to wonder what the hell am I going to do with all the bows, clips and hair ties !!!!

Yep they can be a lot and having them lying around everywhere isn´t the solution. But of course I have an organizing solution for this one too.

There are two things I want to share with you that have been highly affective for us. 

How to organize your girl´s hair accessories

 

I have two things that have worked very well for us. First of all the hair tie tower. It is a three storey box where we can put all of the different hair ties the girls have. Now more lying around everywhere. 

The other very cool thing is this bow hanger. I have ordered it from etsy and have hung it right up. The bows look so pretty on there and it also has a decorative aspect plus there is much more space to hang more.
