I love to get ready everyday – this includes getting dressed and also getting my make-up done. I was in a real slump at abouth the half of my pregnancy and didn´t do anything at all but now I am back and although I am still tired in the morning (this probably won´t get better) this is good for my soul. It is just something I value and it also makes me happy.
My everday make-up usually consists of the same products. I rarely switch things especially not if I have found something I like and that also works for me. I have changed my foundation because of my pregnancy but I am sure changing it back after breastfeeding.
The other things I might switch are blush colors but I mostly use the bronzer and a colored highlighter. Lipsticks have been a favorite of mine and I normally use a different one everyday but I have been using the same one for the last few weeks cause it just works so well with all the Summer colors.
Many of the products I am using are from the drug store and super affordable and others are tried and true favorites I buy over and over again from Sephora for example.
Yellow seems to be one of my main colors the last few days and I am not intentionally picking it out, I just wear what still fits and try to style it the way I like it. It has been definitely harder than it looks this time around. My belly is huge and when I say huge it means it does not fit into the fabric part of maternity jeans anymore because it is just too tight and uncomfortable so I am really happy that the temperatures allow me to wear dresses plus that it is over soon.
A bodycon dress has been my friend from day one of both pregnancies. It looks pretty, is easy to style, mostly flattering because of the ruching and you just can´t go wrong with it. It is easily styled up or down and can be worn 24/7. Mine is from amazon but there are tons of others out there you could order from Mango to Zara to H&M.
But let´s talk about this tote. The real hero of the post. My version is from last year but H&M has gotten about three or four new pattern for this year so I am sure you will find one you like. It is a very inexpensive dupe for a very expensive other brand. It makes for a great shopping bag and the black and white print especially matches with lots of other pieces. Since it is all out of fabric it´s very durable and I am sure you can wash it and hang it dry if a coffee accidents happens. Definitely one of my best purchases from last year for under 35 Euro.
Styled my beloved white Chucks with this dress. I want to wear all of my Summer shoes but I am just so tired most of the time that flats are my number one option these last few days. Also if the shoe fits…. 😉
Building this art corner has been one of the best ideas I had this year. We gifted Emilia the art easel and all the supply for her second birthday cause she loves to draw and it was a huge hit. We might have a little artist on our hands 🙂 but all jokes aside I think it is perfect for her age. She likes to draw all by herself or with one of us. It definitely keeps her occupied and happy.
I got most of the stuff from amazon as well as a local store but you can get many of the things like stickers and glitter glue or stamps at your local dollar store, I am sure about that.
The art cart itself is from Ikea and stuffed with great items to draw, color and do handikraft. I got lots of boxes and cups to keep it as neat as possible and so far it has worked great. The paper divider is from amazon and perfect to store the sticker sheets, construction and glitter paper as well as the little sheets of foam rubber. I am sure we are going to do lots of crafts with all these things.
As far as I can see there are hundreds of cute things you could add to your cart. You just need to decide which theme you want to follow and also what you or your little one enjoys.
