Knits and Denim for Spring…

Getting dressed has become a little harder over the last few months but I am still finding cute things and am managing to style it properly for the season.

A dress is my number one choice these days as it is super comfortable and easy to style. Hopefully the weather will get warmer soon so I can get back to wearing dresses every day. We had lots of snow over the weekend and it´s still cold out. 

Spring has never been my favorite season to dress but with all the cute colors out there it is definitely easier. A knit dress is a favorite of mine and so easy to style plus it will keep you warm on those colder days. The zipper style is quite sportive so I went with the flow and added a pair of white platform sneakers to the look. The denim jacket and the blue straw handbag add another casual vibe to the look. Overall it was a very cute and comfy everyday style. 

Continuing with Easter inpso tomorrow. I still have a  lot up my sleeve to share with you. See you soon.

Delicious Bunny Bait as an Easter Treat…

With Easter right around the corner I just can´t wait for all the delicious treats that come along our way and also for our big Easter brunch. I still have some other recipes I wanted to share with you but I couldn´t wait for the Bunny Bait cause it is so easy, funny and yummy plus it is amazing to gift to your family and friends. 

Colorwise there are endless possibilities but to make it Easter appropriate I went with green, yellow and orange. It looks so beautiful and springy I just love it. 

For our Bunny Bait I have used:

– mini pretzels

– macadamia nuts

– oat pillows 

– sprinkle mix Easter themed 

– crunch balls 

– M&M´s 

– white choclate

Quantities aren´t really that important here. I have used one cup of all the main ingredients and the sprinkles and M&M´s just to cover the crunch.

You can add and take away as many as you want. I have also made a Reel that you can watch on my Instagram account if you are interested. 

First I mix all the dry ingredients, then I put in the chocolate and stir, stir, stir. After that I spread the whole batter on a sheet pan and evenly distribute the sprinkles, crunch balls, M&M´s and everything else you want to use to decorate. Now you have to wait until the chocolate hardends. It can take up some hours. 

Then I break it into little pieces to put into Weck jars to keep it fresh or if you want to gift it you can put it into little paper or plastic bags. Also if you want to gift it for Easter you can definitely put on some bunny shaped tags.

It is incredible I got a fourth blog post up this week. The last two weeks have been a total doozy. I got Emilia´s cold and was super sick. Couldn´t sleep from coughing at night and from ear pain and a sore throat during the day. Emilia has been at her grandma´s most of the days and I still couldn´t get better but there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel. I have gotten so much better the last two days!!

Anyways let´s have a look at the last looks I have been wearing. They are in no way all from this week but collected over the last two and a half weeks. All themed Spring (although it has started to snow today and will do so through the weekend) and colorful and light.

Obviously I have a thing for reds and pinks cause these have been my most worn colors throughout the last few weeks. People always think because of your red hair you can not wear corals, red and pinks but that is just not true. It always depends on the shade of your hair and then you can choose which hues work for you or not.

All the Details for Emilia´s „Farmtastic“ Second Birthday Party…

Kid´s birthday party planning is definitely my thing. When I go on Pinterest to get some inspo on themes I could definitely browse on there for hours and hours. There are so many cute themes for little girls which makes it super hard to choose from. Last year our theme was Minnie Mouse – for Emila´s First Birthday Party – and this year we went with a farm theme cause the loves all of the farm animal books and visit the ducks and chickens at her grandma´s place.

So after I have a party theme I always start to browse amazon for decor. It is easy cause there is everything in one place and you can search easily but there are plenty of other shops I come back and have a look for party decor.

The theme for Emilia´s second birthday party has been „Farmtastic“. She has been loving all things farm lately and I thought it would be a cute theme for her second birthday. She loved all the farm animals I incorporated into the decor and also the cake. It is amazing to watch her and see how much joy she gets. We only celebrated with our family cause I have been too sick to make a birthday party with lots of kids happen but it was fine with her, also cause she didn´t know better. 

So for the set-up, I went with a balloon arch as the center piece of the table in the theme colors blush, pink, white and some very cute black and white balloons with an all over cow print. The table cloth was all pink and white gingham covered with lots of black and white accents. I definitely loved how our little farm scene turned out. 

We got the cake from a small bakery nearby (they did all of our cakes so far) and it was magnificent like the last time. It turned out super cute with the cow print, the little barn and all the farm animals.
