Isn´t a slip skirt the most available invention there ever was? The glorious silky shine and feel and the easyness to wear. Throw it on and add a cute top and you are good to go. Need anything more dressed up? Add a shirt, blazer jacket and pumps to your look.

This adorable navy blue slip skirt with the rope pattern is a great piece to wear year round. Maybe you remember me wearing this in the heat of the summer with espadrilles and a cute t-shirt.

Now I have styled it in a different and cozy Fall appropriate way. With a creme colored tie-sleeve sweater and a pair of suede booties. I love to wear my clothes in Summer and be able to take them into Fall with me. This is the kind of outfit inspo I love to share with you guys.

I have lots of fashion coming your way the next weeks so there probably will be a cute Fall style for everyone on the blog soon.

Starting on planning holiday and Christmas content now. I am so excited for the upcoming season especially with a baby now.

Aren´t baby clothes the cutest things on earth to buy. Everytime we get into a baby store I can hardly contain myself. I am so excited with all these adorable little pieces of clothing and want to get all of them.

With Fall already here and Halloween around the corner there are tons of new arrivals out there and my favorite season to shop.

I got a ton of things for baby girl cause we needed a bigger size anyways and the seasons changed as well. H&M kids is my number one stop for baby clothing but I also love to shop at PatPat, they always have tons of exceptional pieces and Amazon as well.

Emilia is seven months tomorrow and she is now 72 cm big. She still wears size 74 but everything we get for her now is size 80. H&M clothes fit true to size. Pat Pat clothes are very small – I always order up one size up which means she is wearing the 9-12 months at the moment. Amazon depends on the brand, retailer and country the clothes come from. I would recommend to always meassure or at get the bigger size to be sure as many things can´t be returned or are not worth the fee.

Most used baby products – from Newborn to 6 Months…

….

Happy Friday,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

Emilia is going to be seven months next week. Seven months – what in the world. The time with her has been pure bliss but also a huge learning curve. Getting to know her and what she likes and wants and of course we got some help of incredible procuts we learned to love and couldn´t live without.

Sleepyhead // The european version of the Dockatot. A really great bassinet to put your newborn and take it everywhere with you. We used it a ton around the house and to put her to sleep at night. Also not cheap but since we used it so much and will use it for further children it has paid for itself.

Bugaboo Donkey Duo // The stroller of my dreams. Literally. I have wanted this for the longest time and when it finally was my turn I was so happy that the yellow options were still available. It costs a small fortune but is so flexible and I think it will serve us years to come.

Foam play mat // The foam mat came in very handy the day she started to turn on her own. I could not keep her on the sofa cause it was to dangerous for her to fall down so I got this play mate and she loves it.

Bottle drying grass // Very convenient if you have the place for it on your kitchen counter. It does the work for you.

Breathing monitor // This has been our holy grail item. It tracks the breathing and sets of an alarm if there hasn´t been any movement for the last 10 seconds. It definitely gives me a piece of mind and helps us sleep better.

Maxi Cosi Car Seat // A staple everybody needs. We went with the Maxi Cosi Rock and have been very happy with our choice. It holds up very well and also has a newborn insert. For now I have stored it away cause we moved on to a permanet car seat already.

Maxi Cosi car seat cover // This cover has been most helpful in times of Covid. I used it everytime we had an doctors appointment or some outing with lot´s of people around.

Bottle Warmer // The WMF bottle warmer not only looks good and blends well in with the other kitchen appliances it also holds any kind of bottle brand and has 4 other functions like reaheating small and large bottles, express reheating and thawing breast milk.

Portable white noise mashine // Took this with us everywhere we went it the beginning. She slept so well with the white noise being turned on all the time.

Night Light // The night light is probably our most used item. I already had it in the hospital with me and it was super useful and still is for night feedings.

Bathing seat // She has already outgrown her first bathing seat but I think this was a great one. Very practical and also affordable. Plus it doesn´t look comfortable but the structure is soft indeed.

Baby Björn bouncer // The bouncer has been very useful for me to get things around the house done. I would sit her in there and take her to any room with me. She really liked it a lot and would often fall asleep. It is a little pricey for a bouncy chair but it folds very flat so you could store it under the sofa or on the closet plus you can turn it inside out and it will function as a seat for toddlers.

Backseat mirror // Perfect if you are driving alone and want to see what your little one is up to on the backseat.

Swaddles // Can´t have enough of these. I use them as spit cloths and blankets in the Summer.

Philips Avent bottle sterilizer // I have been pumping since week six or so and this sterilizer has been a huge help in cleaning bottles plus it holds a ton of equipment.

Motorola baby monitor // We haven´t used the monitor for the first few months cause she was naping right beside me or in her stroller most of the time. But it has become quite handy the last few weeks. I wanted a monitor to see what happens and it turns out to be right cause she always starts to move first before she starts babbling or crying.

Hauck side bed // Great for higher beds too cause you can adjust the height. Emilia still sleeps in it every night and I don´t want to switch her in the foreseable future.

Motoric ball // This has been the first toy she actively grabbed and played with. Still one of our favorties.

Teething toy fox // Since her little teeth started coming in this has been a huge favorite. It is made of silicone and perfect to chew on, also how cute is the fox motive.

These have been our absolute favorites for the last six months. Everathing I have pictured above was worth it to get and has made our life much easier.

I am wishing everybody a great weekend with tons of Fall activities. See you on Monday

What´s new in my beauty cabinet – September…

….

A huge hello to all of my make-up addicted readers

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

and welcome to another round of what´s new in my beauty cabinet covering the month of September. If you are new here I am sharing what products I have tried/tested once a month and my honest opinion. I love to get beauty products and find new innovative items / brands in the beauty section and test them. Make-up still is my highlight but I love new and innovative skincare as well. Especially what makes me look younger and clears my skin.

Clinique take the day off cleansing balm // It is good and does the job but in terms of smell, consistency and smoothness the Biotherm face balm is ways better.

Huda Beauty Legit Lashes mascara // To be honest I am not big into mascaras. I have used the essence brand forever but I have only heard and read great things about the Legit Lashes mascara. It is double sided and adds awesome color, volume and length. The mascara is a little pricey but to be honest it is worth every penny.

deep sleep pillow spray // If you are having trouble falling asleep try this scented spray on your pillow. I spreads the calming scent of lavender all over and helps you fall asleep faster. I have had trouble falling asleep at night for a long time and I really think it helps. I would give it a try.

elf poreless primer // Leaves the most amazing smoothest silkiest feeling on your skin. I have never had a primer that felt this good and it is only 7 bucks.

Pixi Overnight Glow Serum // I have added this serum to my nighttime routine. It holds lots of vitamin C to add that great glow to your skin. Best is that it works overnight.

beautyblender // I have used the blender from Real Techniques and loved it a lot so I wanted to try the real beautyblender and to be honest I do not like it at all. It has a harsh surface and it sucks up way to much foundation if you ask me I´d rather save my money on that.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Powder // I got this as an undereye powder but the color is too dark for that kind of use (got a medium and what was I thinking). So now I am using it for full face coverage and dang this product is good. I mean really good. It goes on very smoothly, has awesome coverage and stays mat as long as needed. To be honest the powder is really expensive but holds up great.

Sephora #lipstories in color Palm Street // I love the #lipstories lipsticks and have gotten plenty over the years. The mate formula is amazing (which means supermate) and goes on very smooth. It holds up well throughout the day as well. The color Palm Street is a brown shade with a red undertone. Perfect for Fall.

Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick Coffee Edition // I got two of the 4 available colors and to be honest these are the best ones available. Hazelnut Hypnotizer is a pretty blush color with a brown undertone. Cocoa Connoisseur is the color I am wearing above. It is a deep and rich mahagony color that fits the season so well.

So looking back this was a great month in all things beauty. Only one miss. Did you try any of the above?
