this week didn´t go as planned (postwise) but I am positive the next weeks (full of Christmas content) are up as I intended it.
Our daughters baptism is tomorrow and I am really excited for her. It is another milestone in her young life. I hope everything goes well.
Going to share a lot more from invitations, cakes and outfits over the next weeks. Hopefully we can take some nice pictures and use them for our Christmas cards as there is no time left to take actual Christmas card pics.
But now on to the look I am wearing in the photos above. It is the perfect transitional look to wear on warmer Fall days. A cute and thin turtleneck shirt makes for a great base (did you recognize my favorite of all turtlenecks ever) and then followed by a poncho. I love wearing ponchos as outerwear but sometimes the time between warm Fall weather and freezing Fall weather is so short that I don´t get to wear all of my favorites and to be honest wearing a poncho under a jacket is the worst.
My love for bootcut jeans is still going strong. Loved them since I was a kid and still prefer them over skinny yeans. They looked great with the poncho so I am definitely going to wear this style again with different pieces.
How great is it that olive green has become such a popular color for Fall and Winter. I personally love this moody he of green. Do you like it or it is too military for you?

I am working all day everyday on our downstairs Christmas decor plus the table set up for Emilia´s baptism on Saturday. I am all about decorating very classic this Christams season. Most of my decor is white and gold this year.

This months has been full of activities and it was actually really nice cause we dialed back a lot since the last lockdown. November won´t be as fun as the beautiful fallish month of October cause we can not go out to eat or meat with other people. Hopefully it gets better again for Christmas season.
it is safe to say that I love to wear skirts but a plaid skirt for this season with a cute matching sweater gets a 10/10 from me.
How adorable is this mini skirt and sweater combo. I loved wearing it. The look gave me all the Fall feels and the deep maroon color is just so beautiful. A nice loose fitted sweater fits so well with a mini skirt cause it balances it out real well. The skirt has been one of my latest additions to my closet. It comes with a belt but I am not at my best shape so covered up with a sweater it is. The sweater is from SheIn and I bought it last year. The colorblocking of the creme and maroon color are perfect for Fall.
Fall is still my favorite season although my Christmas tree is up but I am going to leave my front porch decor until after Thanksgiving.
We are currently watching The Order on Netflix and I am not sure what to think about it. The magic stuff is cool but the main character is kind of a douche so we´ll see if we keep on it. I started decorating the table for our blessing on Saturday. We can not have a meal together afterwards so I am going to set up the cake for everybody to grab a piece and go home.
it is a very hard one today. Emilia hardly slept stretches of an hour last night so I am definitely very tired and only coffee and eye patches will get me through the day but somehow it is very fitting for this post because what to do when your eyes are so small from being awake ? I mean besides take a nap! Add a pair of big impressive lucious lashes and curl them up and suddenly you look wide awake although you are sleeping on the inside.
Wearing fake lashes has become a huge part of my make-up routine (not only because I am tired more often but also because I love how it looks and how quick it is done) and I have tried a ton of different styles over the years but always came back to my favorites.
The best lash glue
Today I am sharing all about my favorite lashes, the brand, the cost, the size and anything else worth mentioning but first we gonna talk about the lash glue I am using.
The brand is called Fing´rs and they went out of business a few years ago. I have purchased the last ones in every drug store I found some and also the very last one from amazon. You could say I had quite the impressive stock but all good things must come to an end and so has my favorite glue and might I add that this is the best lash glue ever. Period.
I tried some different glues but ended up liking none of them. Whether they had a terrible chemical smell or my lashes started to come off on the edges and that is not very practical when you are out and about. At some point I became panic that I had to give up my beloved lashes. That was the point were I decided to frisk every last corner in the world wide web to get my former glue and after several disappointments I found an online shop in the UK who still carries the Fing´rs lash glue and I ordered the maximum amount of it. Yes it is this good and I am not the only crazy person who thinks this. In several online forums it is discussed as the best glue EVER.
Lash glues I didn´t like, the Duo eyeslash adhessive – might be a good glue but the smell is unbearable. The Red Cherry lash glue – isn´t holding up very well so you will definitely loose one of your lashes after some time. The Ardell glue that come with the package – not vey good to apply so it smudges out on everyside and looks horrible.
