it is indeed a happy Friday for two reasons. First, I am heading to my grandma later to have one of my favorite dishes ever at her place and second I finally oragnized all of my accessories and when it is tidied up and organized I am super pleased. Sounds like a great start into the weekend.
But let´s start with today´s topic. As I was saying organizing is my jam I wanted to share my jewelry and accessory organization tools with you today and what I store where.
What to put where…
In terms of renovating and redecorating our bedroom I got a jewelry cabinet which I love. I has several sections and holds tons of stuff and is the perfect addition to organize all my stuff. It also has a mirror on the outside and looks very cute in its place.
The left side (door) is for all your big statement earrings and necklaces. I was able to fit all of my necklaces in the jewelry cabinet which means no more mess and no more tangling. The cabinet is from amazon and I am very satisfied with the quality, price and shipping.
Another thing I love to use for organizing my favorite headbands it this golden t-holder I got from the H&M online store (also available in silver and black). I first wanted it to seperate all of my dainty necklaces from the big statement ones but I decided to use it for my headbands as it is the perfect fit. So I can see my current favorites right away and am able to grab them in a second if I am late, which let´s be honest happens more often than I prefer.
To store any other pieces like brooches, jewelry pieces I don´t wear anymore but are still meaningful to me and some of the earrings that didn´t fit in nowhere or are just seasonal like my Christmas earrings I got these cute acrylic miniature drawers (would also make a great fit for your makeup).
You can put your bangles in a drawer but wouldn´t it be awesome to store them on this bangle holder I got from amazon as well. It has three rows and is super easy to put together and fits a ton of pieces.
And last but not least this little drawer especially made for sunglasses is a great organizational item too. I am pretty messy when it comes to sunglasses. You can find them everywhere in our house (especially on the stairs), in handbags and our cars. And of course when I have to run out the door cause I am already late or I am preparing my look I can´t find the one I want to wear. Nowhere! The sunglass drawers are stackable too which means you can store them one above the other.
I totally love when everything is in its place and you see what you got. Are you loving organising as much as I do or do you think it is a necessary evil?
