are you team band shirt or not ? It seems there are two camps. The ones who love them and wear them no matter if they know the band or a single song and the other side who only wears them as a true fan to concerts.

I am definitely team band shirt cause all the different prints and awesome colors make super cool graphic tees but I always make sure to at least know one of the songs the band sang just in case anyone is asking you know 😉

So now on to the whole look. I love my pair of denim culottes. I got these from H&M several years ago and I still love the style. You can find them everywhere these days, in fact every kind of denim style can be found in any stores which I think is great cause variety is key in the fashion game.

What do you think of the t-shirts color pairing? Pairing pink with red has never been one of the color combos I thought much about but it works pretty well since there is also red in the shirt. 

Overall this is a pretty casual outfit for me but in Spring I tend towear lots of casual looks with sneakers. This changes very quickly once Summer rolls around and I have full access to all of my sandals.

this post is for you. I wanted to round-up some of the latest baby things I got cause first of all we don´t always use anything I get (Emilia doesn´t like everything) plus baby items are so cute and I tend to order too much.

All of the products are available on amazon which means you get everything in one place plus most of them are prime shipping. I definitely slowed down purchasing stuff cause Emilia has her favorite things and mostly uses these. Sometimes she will play with something else but she always comes back around.

 

Play phone // I got this retro telephone because I had the exact same as a kid and thought she would like to play with it but it doesn´ t interest her at all so this was definitely a fail

Silicone bips // Awesome for feedings. The food will fall right into it which means less of a mess. 

Hair bows // These are adorable and come in every color you will need. The bows are clip in and hold up very well.

Dinosaur book // Emilia loves all the touch and feel books so I got her the dinosaur version. It is the cutest thing when she „reads“ a book. 

Lego Duplo bus // We also have the animal and number train. I couldn´t wait for her to start playing with Duplo and maybe I got all these a little more for myself and for her but she likes to destroy all the trains I build.

Playmobil 123 safari truck // Got this cute safari truck for Emilia´s Easter basket. Can´t wait for her to open it. 

Philips Avent straw cup // She loves drinking out of her straw cup. I think she feels very „grown up“ with this and I have a feeling she even drinks more with it than with her usual sippy cup.

Peppa Pig book // This book actually was for her little Valentine´s basket but it ended up being way to big so I gave it to her early and she loves to look under all the flaps.

NUK tooth set // Since we have 8 teeth now it is time to get Emilia used to brushing her teeth. This is going to be a tough one.

Cabinet childlooks // These were very necessary cause she stared to open the cabinets and pull out everything. They hold up very well and we didn´t have to exchange one yet.

Fruit nibbler // Never used this. I got it for teething to put cold fruit and ice inside but she didn´t know what to do with it and just played with the handle.

Bathrobe // This will be one of Emilia´s birthday present. A baby in a bathrobe is just the cutest.

did you do anything fun on the weekend? We didn´t even leave the house except for short walks but that´s it. It is time for stores to open up again cause at some point I don´t have anymore drawers to organize in this house plus I am going stir crazy. 

So let´s talk about this adorable Spring outfit. It also happens to include one of the colors of the year – illuminating yellow. I have loved yellow forever and I think it is a great color to pair with lavender. I have never thought about it before I saw this cardigan. 

Maybe you remember the cardigan from years before cause I also have it in two other colors. They came out with a new version every year. I personally love a oversized and overlong cardigan with slouchy sleeves.

Since Spring weather doesn´t mean higher temperatures than 12 degrees in Germany I paired it with my favorite suede leather booties but espadrilles or slingbacks would be equally cute. 

Are there any color combos you think wouldn´t work so great together ?

11 Months with Emilia…

wow where to start, where to start. It has been quite some time since I have updated you guys on Emilia´s progress. She is now 11 months and one week old which means we are in her birthday month now. I am planning a Minnie Mouse birthday party for my little girl and I hope so much that she will be excited as much as I am.

She recently started walking which is amazing. I never thought she would start this early and I am so proud of her. It is the cutest thing when she waddles around with her tiny little feet and tries to kick away everything in her way.

Another thing she loves is looking at pictures. We need to look at all of our photos in our house over and over again. Same with books. It is the cutest thing when she picks out a book and starts „reading“ it. Also a book won´t be great if there aren´t dinosaurs or dogs in it. 

Emilia can say Mama and Papa and she can make like a fish when you ask her to. She winks when she has to go to bed or if someone is leaving.

She takes two big naps a day for which I am very glad cause otherwise I wouldn´t be able to get stuff done.  Now on to solids. We had our fair share of problems with introducing solids. I thing she just didn´t get the concept of why she suddenly had to add food to her diet when she was totally satisfied by her milk.

I had all the big plans on making baby food by myself and tried so many different vegetables but it was two spoons full and then done. Meanwhile we have found some things she will definitely eat containing oatmeal, chocolate pudding, pear, cheese, spaghetti and bread. It isn´t the variety I had wished for but to be honest this is a win in my book plus our pediatricin said that eating before their first birthday is still just a game to babies.

So that post was long overdue hence the long text but thanks for sticking with me. This is it for today. I am going to share recent baby finds on the blog next week plus I am planning on sharing our daily schedule which took us about 9 months to get there.
