Easter is right around the corner (12 days away) so I just wanted to know if you are prepped already? I am done early this year whith decor and gifts because we have Emilia´s birthday celebration on the weekend and one week isn´t enough time for me to get everything done. I mean I only have about 3 hours a day were she naps.
So let´s talk about the baby girl Easter inspo in this blog post. I think baby things are the cutest and printing little bunnies on them makes them even more adorable.
Easter Inspo for Babies
Golden sandals // Pink sandals // denim sandals – baby sandals are the cutest. I can not wait for her to wear these in the Summer.
Yellow ruffle dress // Easter Bunny dress // Easter Bunny Set – The cutest Spring/Summer/Easter dresses for baby girl. An a line dress on a baby is the most adorable thing I have seen in a while.
Bunny book // Easter story book – I got different Easter books for Emilia. I personally love to change her books seasonally. She loves to look at her books and does this several times a day.
Easter basket // Got a soft Easter basket like this one for our Easter Egg hunt. I don´t want her to get hurt by falling over and onto a wooden basket plus they are available in beautiful Spring colors.
Stuffed bunny // I just had to. We definitely have enough stuffed animals but what is Easter without a fluffy bunny.
Eggs for Easter Egg Hunt // Hopefully she will understand the concept of collecting the eggs but either way I am sure it is going to be so much fun for her.
I got a stuffed bunny and some books for Emilia´s Easter basket plus a soft Easter basket for her to collect Easter Eggs in the garden. Hopefully the weather will be nice.
wow where to start, where to start. It has been quite some time since I have updated you guys on Emilia´s progress. She is now 11 months and one week old which means we are in her birthday month now. I am planning a Minnie Mouse birthday party for my little girl and I hope so much that she will be excited as much as I am.
She recently started walking which is amazing. I never thought she would start this early and I am so proud of her. It is the cutest thing when she waddles around with her tiny little feet and tries to kick away everything in her way.
Another thing she loves is looking at pictures. We need to look at all of our photos in our house over and over again. Same with books. It is the cutest thing when she picks out a book and starts “reading” it. Also a book won´t be great if there aren´t dinosaurs or dogs in it.
Emilia can say Mama and Papa and she can make like a fish when you ask her to. She winks when she has to go to bed or if someone is leaving.
She takes two big naps a day for which I am very glad cause otherwise I wouldn´t be able to get stuff done. Now on to solids. We had our fair share of problems with introducing solids. I thing she just didn´t get the concept of why she suddenly had to add food to her diet when she was totally satisfied by her milk.
I had all the big plans on making baby food by myself and tried so many different vegetables but it was two spoons full and then done. Meanwhile we have found some things she will definitely eat containing oatmeal, chocolate pudding, pear, cheese, spaghetti and bread. It isn´t the variety I had wished for but to be honest this is a win in my book plus our pediatricin said that eating before their first birthday is still just a game to babies.
So that post was long overdue hence the long text but thanks for sticking with me. This is it for today. I am going to share recent baby finds on the blog next week plus I am planning on sharing our daily schedule which took us about 9 months to get there.
Having a baby totally changes your feeling for time. It definitely goes by super fast and some days come to an end and I couldn´t tell you what we even did. Maybe that is why my sweet little newborn isn´t a newborn anymore. She is eight months now (and 14 days) and couldn´t be any cuter. I definitely want to eat her up most of the time. I absolutely forgot to post about her 7 months update so this will be a mixed one.
She is super smiley not only with us but also with other people. She recently started to sit up and has become very good at sitting for longer periods in a short amount of time. She can also sit up by herself when she likes to.
One thing we got really surprised about is that she started crawling last week. I gave up the thought about her crawling some time ago and was even more happy that she actually crawls now. Emilia is really fast now and makes the cutest sounds while doing so. I just love to watch her.
Standing up has been her second great achivement for the last few weeks. She pulls up very nicely by kneeling and then standing up. Totally perfected that technique.
Still doesn´t want to eat any solids. We have tried a ton of different foods and some are more in her favor than others but overall Emilia doesn´t eat enough to cut back milk now, so milk it still is.
We are currently having four teeths and I am so happy that they are through now cause she sleeps a lot better than some weeks ago.
I can´t wait for Christmas Eve to come to see her with all the lights and family and her presents. I always loved Christmas but it is definitely better with a child. A thousand times at least.
By the way, the sweater is from H&M but I couldn´t find it online.
Aren´t baby clothes the cutest things on earth to buy. Everytime we get into a baby store I can hardly contain myself. I am so excited with all these adorable little pieces of clothing and want to get all of them.
With Fall already here and Halloween around the corner there are tons of new arrivals out there and my favorite season to shop.
I got a ton of things for baby girl cause we needed a bigger size anyways and the seasons changed as well. H&M kids is my number one stop for baby clothing but I also love to shop at PatPat, they always have tons of exceptional pieces and Amazon as well.
Emilia is seven months tomorrow and she is now 72 cm big. She still wears size 74 but everything we get for her now is size 80. H&M clothes fit true to size. Pat Pat clothes are very small – I always order up one size up which means she is wearing the 9-12 months at the moment. Amazon depends on the brand, retailer and country the clothes come from. I would recommend to always meassure or at get the bigger size to be sure as many things can´t be returned or are not worth the fee.
