Christmas Pajamas for the whole Family + great Black Friday sales…

are you already shopping for your Christmas gifts ? I am half way through and happy about what I got so far. It is one of the biggest sales day of the year today but to be honest I haven´t ordered anything. I was organizing and cleaning the whole day because we have got our new sofa.

I have created sales guides the last few years but to be honest it is a lot of work to do so and having a baby at home isn´t giving you more time but I wanted to share one great deal with you.

Ordering new Christmas pj´s every year has become a tradtition in our house and to be honest I find the cutest ones at PatPat plus they always offer parents and kids sizes and sometimes even pieces for dogs.

We went with the burgundy and reindeer option for this years Christmas pj´s and to be honest I love them. The plaid is really pretty and a nice change since we had stripes and string lights the last few years.

This really gets me in the Christmas spirit and I definitely need a ton of it this year. Make sure to check back next week for a ton of Christmas related posts.

Cute Baby Clothes for Fall and Halloween…

Aren´t baby clothes the cutest things on earth to buy. Everytime we get into a baby store I can hardly contain myself. I am so excited with all these adorable little pieces of clothing and want to get all of them.

With Fall already here and Halloween around the corner there are tons of new arrivals out there and my favorite season to shop.

I got a ton of things for baby girl cause we needed a bigger size anyways and the seasons changed as well. H&M kids is my number one stop for baby clothing but I also love to shop at PatPat, they always have tons of exceptional pieces and Amazon as well.

Emilia is seven months tomorrow and she is now 72 cm big. She still wears size 74 but everything we get for her now is size 80. H&M clothes fit true to size. Pat Pat clothes are very small – I always order up one size up which means she is wearing the 9-12 months at the moment. Amazon depends on the brand, retailer and country the clothes come from. I would recommend to always meassure or at get the bigger size to be sure as many things can´t be returned or are not worth the fee.

Emilia´s 6 Months Update…

How in the world is my sweet little baby already a half year old. I can not believe how fast time went and I am afraid that in another blink of an eye she is turning one. But let´s not get too dramatic (plays sad music and watches newborn videos of her baby on phone) and share what has happended this month.

Emilia´s 6 month update

Our biggest milestone this month has been introducing our sweet little girl into solids. She has eaten carrots, pumpkin and sweet potatoes so far and hasn´t been the greatest fan of anyhting. I recently introduced her to greek yoghurt and some mashed fruits and went a little better but she still is very spectical and eating with a spoon is still pretty new to me.

I think she is starting to crawl very soon cause she gets up in position but lays down soon after cause the doesn´t know what the next step is.

And we got a tooth, one little tooth. It came out 2 weeks ago and sleeping has been horrible since. The newborn stage was nothing in comparison with this but it is so worth it. She gets sweeter by the day and has such a sunny personality.

We do have some skin troubles. Dry and red spots that come and go but don´t stay away. I have tried several lotions to make it better but still at the process of finding a good one that helps to solve the problem. I had eczema as a child and I am afraid she is going to get that too.

Emilia has several favorite toys she loves to play with and that includes our remote control, Playstation controller and phones. Maybe it is the lights taht makes her so addicted to these or that we are using them all the time and she wants to have these too.

Sitting hasn´t been that good cause she just isn´t interested in sitting up by her own but we are practicing a little every day.

She has outgrown her Maxi Cosi so I got a permanent car seat for her this week and it made me so sad cause she it growing up so fast.

So here´s to six months my love.

Emilia´s 5 Months Update…

Everytime I sit down and write another monthly update I can not believe hot much time has passed already. She is going to turn 6 months shortly and I still remember taking her home from the hospital like it was yesterday.

Emilia started rolling from her back on her tummy last month and now she is quite the pro. Back and forth all day long and she is getting everywhere she wants – mostly with a little detour but she´s got time you now.

Teething toys have become very interesting the last few weeks. She likes chewing on them and makes the funniest squeekie sounds. I ordered a cute little fox from amazon as well as a banana from Nuby and she loves both.

She has grown to be a very good sleeper and sleeps through the night on 6 out of 7 days I would say. The first time she wakes up and needs to be breastfed is around 6 to 7:30 am which is a huge stretch, after that she fall aspleep again and sleeps until 9 or 10 am. She goes to bed around 11 pm and I know this is late but her last long nap is from 8 to 9 pm so this has become pretty normal for us.

I haven´t started solids yet cause I want to wait until she reaches a full six months before I slowly introduce her to other foods. This is handled different by every mother I know so far but that´s what we decided and to be honest I see no harm in feeding her purely breastmilk a little longer than expected. So far she has shown no interest in any other food at all and she has grown great with my milk.

She is now wearing size 74 in all of her clothes. I got a huge bunch of new things the other weeks. Thank good for H&M and Zara for the cutest but affordable clothes.

Sitting is another favorite activity of her although she can´t sit up by herself but she loves to sit on my lap or on the sofa over lying around. We just got the seat for her Stokke chair so she can sit in there and “eat” with us at the table.

That´s it so far. I am really excited how she is going to react to other foods and if she likes it. Going to be an interesting period of trial and error.
