Christmas Eve is only two days aways, TWO !!!! Wow time flies fast. We have been watching a Christmas movie almost everyday for the last ten days or so and we have come pretty far with all the movies we wanted to watch. There are some we still want to see but to be honest I don´t mind watching them after Christmas.

X-Mas Movies we have watched so far

Christmas with the Kranks @netflix

Love this one so much because of Tim Allen. We are watching this one at least two times. The funniest thing how they try to avoid Christmas and go on a cruise cause their daughter left for the peace corps and they have to throw a last-minute Christmas Eve party.

National Lampoon´s Christmas Vacation @primevideo

This is by far my absolute favorite Christmas movie. Maybe because I can relate to so many aspects of the film. Family father Clark Griswold is planning the perfect Christmas with the highest expectations and get´s a ton of rocks thrown into his way.

Santa Clause 1 @disney+

Definitely like this one more than the second part. Tim Allen is the best in Christmas movies. This one is one of a kind. He scares Santa Claus which fall from the roof so he becomes the new Santa Claus. By his side all the time is his adorable son.

Santa Clause 2 @disney+

Santa Claus needs to find a wife before Christmas so he can stay at the North Pole. Definitely not an easy task if you only have 13 days but he made it and also delivered all the presents on time.

The Nutcracker and the four realms @disney+

Definitely a must see. The most beautiful costumes and backdrops I have seen in a long time. Great actors and so much to discover.

Dirty Office Party @netflix

This might be one of the real life movies. A huge Christmas party at an office going overboard because they wanted to trick their CEO. Starrs Jennifer Aniston. It is not as cheerful as all the holiday movies but was a nice change.

love actually @netflix

A real oldie (Keira Knightley looks like a baby) but always nice to watch. I personally like these types of cross movies where there are many different couples´ stories.

Christmas Under Wraps @netflix

The first Christmas movie I have watched this year and in true “Hallmark” spirit it is definitely a forseeable romcom but the Christmas decor and spirit everywhere is great.

A Christmal Carol @disney+

This is the nicer version of Scrooged plus it is animated and much cuter to watch. A classic Christmas movie starring the present, the future and the past ghost of Christmas.

Christmas Made to Order @netflix

This was by far the worst movie I have watched in quite some time. All the decor was so cheesy and over the top and the acting was horrible. I didn´t even finish it.

The Grinch @netflix

A classic Christmas movie for the whole family. So cute to watch. This one never gets old.

My Christmas Inn @netflix

The story of a succesful marketing lady inheriting an inn in a cute little city. She warms up to the city and its residents and decides to leave her old life behind and works at the inn. Cute story but a little flat.

Holidate @netflix

A wild Christmas movie from the perspective of a single who has to come home alone for Christmas so the rest of the family can bother her to get a boyfriend. She makes a pact with a guy she met to “fake” spend all the holidays toghether until the ultimately fall in love. Starts and ends with Christmas but covers every holiday throughout the year.

Breakfast Board for Christmas Morning…

and welcome to Christmas week. The countdown is officially on and I still can´t believe that Christmas is on Thursday. It is a huge blur for me this year and without any festivites it is a little unreal too.

We always made pancakes for Christmas morning but for this year I wanted to take it up a notch so how about a breakfast board??

Yes, my dearest friends it is easy, delicious and an absolute great idea. You could combine any kind of food. We made mini pancakes, waffles and bacon and put lots of toppings on the board too like jam, nutella, chocolate drops, berries and maple syrup.

This is THE real treat. I absolutely life for breakfast and was so so happy about it. To be honest I thought it would be harder to get everything done in time but it was very manageable.

Another great addition would be french toast. Or you serve a hearty breakfast board including bacon and fried eggs, avocado and toast plus it is so pretty on the eye.

Gift Guide – Baby…

This is by far my favorite gift guide. I love to pick things for Emilia. Why are baby toys so damn cute?! Maybe that is one of the reasons we have way too much toys already.

I am always looking for cute things as well as toys she can learn things with and books.

Today´s gift guide is the last of the season because things won´t arrive in time after tomorrow so it makes no sense at all. I have only done four this year but with a baby at home it was enough stress. I always try to do different gift guides, not the usual ones you can see everywhere. I hope you liked them and it wasn´t too much.

Gift Guide for the Baby

SkipHop activity gym // We got this from a family friend and she loves to be in it. All the play features are awesome and it is the right height so she can also interact with our dog.

Tummy Time Lama // I ordered this before she was born and to be honest she didn´t like it all for tummy time but now she frequently plays with it.

Stacking pyramid // This entertain her a lot.

Stand-up penguin // We got this one some time back and it is her best crawl companion.

Singing book // We don´t own this but I think the idea of a book playing a different song on each page is really cute.

Wooden blocks // My husband probably loves them more than Emilia does. He builds little towers and she comes and knocks them over. They can entertain themselves with this for a long period of time.

Ball pit // We got one for our little girl for Christmas and I can´t wait for her to sit in it. She loves little balls and I think she will be in heaven.

Baby bath robe // Isn´t it the best to cuddle up in your soft robe after taking a bath?

Mobile // This would be such a cute gift for a newborn baby.

Baby armchair // We are going to get one for her birthday as she is a little to small for it now but in my opinion this is the perfect chair for a boss baby!!

Stuffed octopus // Looks very cute and soft and is available in a ton of color combinations.

Play mat // The mixture of the wood and the gray cushion looks so exquisite. Definitely not an eyesore for a living room.

Hopefully this has helped. I for myself found a ton of toys I am going to get for Emilia. Maybe not the best outcome but also not the worst.

My festive Christmas table scape in red and gold…

I wasn´t sure if I would share a table scape this year cause all of our planned festivities have been cancelled due to the second lockdown but we are allowed to celebrate Christmas with our family so here we are. The minute I heard about the loosening of the rules for the Christmas days I was going all out creating a last minute table scape with things I already had.

I wanted to have a rustic table scape with lots of wood and greenery but ended up having no wood but lots of fir. I personally love how it turned out. The table cloth is old but I have never used it. I went with red plates and red gingham napkins for the country flair. For some glamour I added all golden accessories like the candle holders, napkin rings and the bootle brush trees.

As a little extra I love to add string lights. These are the fairy lights and make the faintest little light spots which are awesome for table lighting besides the candles.

I am pretty proud of myself for pulling this off in the short time I had. Normally I think about my Christmas dinner table scape for weeks.
