Recently I am very into the Western trend (a home decor post on this topic is also in the making) and I love styling several pieces alone or together. It is a fine line between looking great and overdoing it so I wanted to break down this look for you guys.
Bootcut denim is the perfect pair of pants to go with a Western look. I mean the description is already in the name – you get what I mean right?!
Another thing I definitely recommend to give your look that Western charme are cowboy boots. Mine are a tad old but amazon has dozens of different colors and heights. Also Asos has a huge variety on cowboy boots. You can probably get them almost everwhere. They look great with a pair of bootcut jeans but also with a pretty floral maxi dress or a denim skirt.
Lastly I would say adding a piece of leather makes it even better. This could be a leather shacket or like I did a leather jacket.
To tone it down I went with a white shirt and no jewelry at all. I think it is important to balance it out. I mean yes you could add a fringe handbag and the typical Western buckle belt but that would be too much. We still want to go to lunch in the city and not ropping cows on the farm.
