With the official start of Spring today I definitely long for brighter and lighter colors and pink is the perfect start for the month of March.
So since pink isn´t everyone´s cup of tea how about tuning it down with an olive green denim jacket. It supports the bright of the pink but you will still won´t look like the pink panther.
The pants I am wearing are H&M maternity but wide leg pants are a huge trend and you can get them almost everywhere. Swapped out my platform sneakers for a pair of nude colored booties.
A cute pony tail always fits great with a denim jacket. Makes for the perfect casual Spring style. Still comfortable if your are pregnant as well.
Ever since we found out we were pregnant I was so eager to find out the gender cause I wanted to do a boy or girl themed nursery this time. Emilia´s nursery has been neutral so I definitely had lots of ideas for a blue or pink room for our next baby. Pinterest is always a great source if you are looking for inspo. It usually never disappoints.
Now that we know we are having another girl and the two of them will be close in age I am going with a shared nursery rather than two nurserie´s cause Emilia´s room is big enough for two tiny humans and I hope the two girls will be super close. Also we are doing wallpaper for the first time and I am super excited how it will look and turn out. The main theme for the girls room will be blush, gold, lots of flowers and crisp white furniture. It will be girly but feminine. Hopefully it turns out like I have it on my mind.
For the boy room I wanted to have it a coastal and airy feel with wood, wicker and lots of blue hues. Always loved that and will be saving my ideas until next time. We´ll see if I still need it or not.

this has been my least productive week but I have managed to at least get dressed and ready for the day. To be honest with all the sickness going around we decided to stay home as much as possible.
The shared girls nursery is coming along pretty well and I am going to share my inspo next week as well as our bathroom update. So much home stuff going on.
Anyways Spring style is in full swing over here. I am sick of dark colors and wintery clothes although we only had two warm days but the sun is out so my mood is immediately set to Spring.
I haven´t had the most productive week to be honest I have been so so tired and not feeling super well so this will hopefully turn around soon. I mean the second trimester is supposed to be a lot better energywise and I also have a ton of stuff to get done until baby #2 is here. Still sounds so surreal.
Anyways let´s have a look at the foundation I am sharing today. I have been trying many throughout the last years but this one has quickly become my favorite.
IT Cosmetics CC Cream
Why has it become a favorite of mine. It is buildable which means it covers blemishes perfectly, it has SPF 50 (very important these days – the sun is making you age and is also a huge risk for skin cancer), there are so many shades available which means there will be definitely the right one for you (my shade is fair), it is available in travel sized (just got mine for my hospital bag) and it is definitely affordable for the quality. Stays all day long. Looks great with or without powder on.
A little alos goes a long way too. I bought mine on Black Friday and used it nearly everyday and it still has lots left. The picture shows how much I need for one coat that covers my whole face. I apply it with a sponge but a brush would be good as well.
Side Note: As great as the CC Cream is I recently found out it is not pregnancy safe at all. The CC cream contains Retinoid, Snail Secretion, Salicylate and Licorice Root which are neither safe for nursing nor pregnancy. I switched to the Tarte amazonian clay 12-hour foundation which is totally safe.
