Happy Sunday you guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

since Thanksgiving is over most of the people I know are in full Christmas decoration mood and have been working all weekend to get that magical feel into the house (and to be honest this year needs it more than ever).

I for myself decided to go along with my crafty side and to decorate some wreaths for my mom and myself (and I really really suck at anything handmade or crafty, I used to glue myself to the table as a kid – by accident). So you can believe me when I say that this DIY is super easy.

The wreaths are from our local drug store as well as the cute little ornaments, pine cones, snowflakes and apples but at this time of the year you can get them literally everywhere.

Starting with the first theme. I wanted it to include as much red as possible and it somehow turned out as a sweet apple and candy cane wreath. The first thing I did was plug in the hot glue pistol and then lay out all the pieces I wanted to put on the wreath. It is much easier to lay it out before. That is my only tip, but the most important. You can make sure you don´t have to much or to less on your wreath and it doesn´t look akward.

The second wreath is a winter wood theme with lots of pine cones and snowflakes. I also added a few little golden ornaments.

A decorated wreath would make a great hostess gift or just a little thoughfulness for a loved person.

Good evening guys,

(post contains affilaite links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

it is my first gift guide of the year 2020 today and to be honest I wasn´t as excited as the years before. The whole pandemic stuff puts such a damper on my usual Christmas excitement. I am trying very hard to get out of my funk and hopefully with Christmas everywhere around I will be normal again.

I always try to include extraordinary gift guides for you guys as there are thousands out there and many are similar. Going to link last years ideas for you at the end of every gift guide post so you can eventually find what you are looking for.

Almost everybody has a hobby cook in the family. The one person who tries out new recipes on the daily and invites you over to test menus and other delicous treats. Wouldn´t it be nice to gift this particular person in your circle something really great. Just think about it. The next test person will definitely be you.

Gift Guide for the Hobby Cook

Indoor herb garden / fine dining wine glasses / pasta maker / apron / knife set / Carnivor red wine / WMF sous-vide maschine / Le Creuset roaster / smoker / chef hat / Kitchen Aid kitchen mashine

Gift Guides from last year:

Dog Lover / Handbag Addict / Hostess / Bookworm / Beauty Addict / Expecting Mum

Happy hump day,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

every year I am looking forward to share our Christmas tree with you guys. I can go all out on Christmas decor, Christmas songs and just get in the spirit for the season.

This year I wanted a traditional color but also very glamorous so I decided to go with gold. You can never go wrong with one of the Christmas colors like gold or red. Since I had red last year this was the natural choice.

One thing I needed to switch out this year have been the lights. We always used string lights but to be honest it was a pain the a** to put them on every year. So I decided to get single lights this year which are turned on with a remote and let me tell you it is so convenient.

I got a pack of 30 pieces off of amazon and love them very much. They definitely add extra flair to the tree.

If you are looking for some extra inspiration for your Christmas tree I am linking my tree´s from the last years for you.

Mint green and silver

Pink and black

Red and green

Have you spotted the pickle on the tree??

Do you know the story behind it? It is supposed to be hidden in the tree and the person who finds it first will receive a little present. Cute and easy am I right.

Did you decorate your tree already? I know it is early putting the Christmas tree up on the 1rst of November but it somehow became a tradition over here.

The pandemic happening this year plus the second (light) lockdown here in Germany has become the literal dead of dressing up. With holiday season upon us it is even one more reason to be sad about. I have loved getting ready for holiday themed parties and events and afterward slip into my cozy loungewear but times have changed and it took a tragic turn. Maybe I am exaggerating a little but that is how it feels to me.

Don´t get me wrong I like to get comfortable on the sofa as much as anybody but doing my make-up and get dressed everyday has always been a huge and important part of my daily routine and since having a baby and being at home cause is not safe / allowed to go anywhere I haven´t had that many ocassions to do so.

So I finally invested in some cute / chic loungewear cause even if I have to stay at home and be comfortable it doesn´t meant I have to do that in worn out gray sweatpants.

Loungewear has definitely improved and I ordered some cute pieces from Asos I wanted to share with you.
