Happy Monday,

and welcome to Christmas week. The countdown is officially on and I still can´t believe that Christmas is on Thursday. It is a huge blur for me this year and without any festivites it is a little unreal too.

We always made pancakes for Christmas morning but for this year I wanted to take it up a notch so how about a breakfast board??

Yes, my dearest friends it is easy, delicious and an absolute great idea. You could combine any kind of food. We made mini pancakes, waffles and bacon and put lots of toppings on the board too like jam, nutella, chocolate drops, berries and maple syrup.

This is THE real treat. I absolutely life for breakfast and was so so happy about it. To be honest I thought it would be harder to get everything done in time but it was very manageable.

Another great addition would be french toast. Or you serve a hearty breakfast board including bacon and fried eggs, avocado and toast plus it is so pretty on the eye.

Happy Friday you guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

I wasn´t sure if I would share a table scape this year cause all of our planned festivities have been cancelled due to the second lockdown but we are allowed to celebrate Christmas with our family so here we are.  The minute I heard about the loosening of the rules for the Christmas days I was going all out creating a last minute table scape with things I already had.

I wanted to have a rustic table scape with lots of wood and greenery but ended up having no wood but lots of fir. I personally love how it turned out. The table cloth is old but I have never used it. I went with red plates and red gingham napkins for the country flair. For some glamour I added all golden accessories like the candle holders, napkin rings and the bootle brush trees.

As a little extra I love to add string lights. These are the fairy lights and make the faintest little light spots which are awesome for table lighting besides the candles.

I am pretty proud of myself for pulling this off in the short time I had. Normally I think about my Christmas dinner table scape for weeks.

Here is a picture how it looks at night:

Hello my lovely ladies,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

are you ready for Christmas ? We are not quite yet but one thing I got acccomplished are our Chrismtas cards and I am mighty proud of that. Last minute isn´t my forte and gives me a ton of stress and anxiety so I am more than happy and relieved that our cards are already here.

I order them from kartenmacherei.de every year since 2015. Their selection has gotten even bigger throughout the years and I love to choose from so many different cards although sometimes it is hard when you like so many.

For this years Christmas cards I went with the Full of Grace style. The deep burgundy color of the card totally matches with our looks from the baptism. We used the pictures which were taken there. The Christmas card turned out beautiful and my husband especially loves the 3D star effect on the front of the card.

You can also customize address stickers and envelopes. It is super easy and convenient to get everything in one place. Now all I have to do is send them out on time.

Happy Sunday you guys,

(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)

since Thanksgiving is over most of the people I know are in full Christmas decoration mood and have been working all weekend to get that magical feel into the house (and to be honest this year needs it more than ever).

I for myself decided to go along with my crafty side and to decorate some wreaths for my mom and myself (and I really really suck at anything handmade or crafty, I used to glue myself to the table as a kid – by accident). So you can believe me when I say that this DIY is super easy.

The wreaths are from our local drug store as well as the cute little ornaments, pine cones, snowflakes and apples but at this time of the year you can get them literally everywhere.

Starting with the first theme. I wanted it to include as much red as possible and it somehow turned out as a sweet apple and candy cane wreath. The first thing I did was plug in the hot glue pistol and then lay out all the pieces I wanted to put on the wreath. It is much easier to lay it out before. That is my only tip, but the most important. You can make sure you don´t have to much or to less on your wreath and it doesn´t look akward.

The second wreath is a winter wood theme with lots of pine cones and snowflakes. I also added a few little golden ornaments.

A decorated wreath would make a great hostess gift or just a little thoughfulness for a loved person.
