I have finally found a brand that makes the MOST perfect Fall sweater of all time and they are also affordable. I have seen this kind of sweaters range from 130 to 160 Euro in different stores and while I am a hardcore Fall enthusiast I am not willing to pay this amount for a sweater ever.

Since it is unusual warm around here I have paired it with a simple cognac colored knit skirt and western style creme colored booties. For this day with about 15 degrees everything I needed. The bag is an oldie but godie – it is from ChiChiFan and I have had it for about eight years I think.

I have this acorn / squirrel sweater as well as this dark green colored one with leaves. I am wearing a medium in both for a more oversized look but could have gone with a small as well. Sweater run big. The brand is called Housebrand and they also offer Christmas and Winter style sweaters.

We are shortly entering the most magical time of the year and of course we all would like to be ready early to enjoy as much of it as possible. With kids it is extra special cause you can see so much joy in their faces. With all the lights, the decor, the presents and everything else that Christmas time has to offer.

I am so looking forward of doing lots of Christmas related things with our older daugther cause she understands so much already and still is mesmerized by everything.

Now of course I am starting to decorate and shop early for Christmas because I want all of December for fun activities and not stressing over all the things that should be done.

Amazon is my number one place for almost everything so it shouldn´t be a surprise to you that I was looking there first for classic red Christmas decor. I got a few of the things in already and can not wait to show it to Emilia.

Red and Green is not only the classic Christmas color combo but will forever be my favorite. Although I have a blush and mint green color theme on my tree this year I went with vibrant Christmas red in our entry way and have not regretted it one minute.

Our tree is from Fairy Tree´s and we have had it for four years now and the quality is really great. I have never regretted getting one. It is the 180 cm.

Christmas mugs really are my week spot and while I haven´t gotten this cute gingerbread mug I got another one.

I got the Fall version of the pillows and the quality is pretty good. Nice colors and sturdy and I think the Christmas themed ones will be the same.

My favorite things to decorate for Christmas are trees. They are my equivalent to pumpkins. Let me tell you I have collected quite some bottle brush trees over the years. They always look great and are easy and affordable to get.

Last but not least are these super cute plaid ornaments. I got a double pack for a small green tree and I think they will look just fine.

Fall in Germany means that there are at least two thirds of the days rain but that won´t stop us from going outside in style.

I have styled three different looks which will work great for rainy days no matter the ocassion.

Rainy Day Styles

Waxed Coat and Combat Boots

– wear with a pair of skinny jeans / cropped jeans so it won´t hang on the ground

– if you don´t have an umbrella or don´t want to take one with you get a coat with a hood

Leather Jacket and Patent Booties

– short or midi skirts only

– a normal leather jacket protects you well from the rain (no suede)

– patent shoes work great for wet streets and rain

Raincoat and Hunter Boots

– Hunter boots are the classics for a rainy day

– this raincoat works amazing over everything / light and thin – theme park approved

– you will not get wet wearing this combo

Fall just is the best of all season and I might have Emilia influenced as much that she thinks so too cause everytime we pass lots of fallen leaves she says „Horray, it is Fall here“.

The weather is still perfect here and was through all of October that we were able to do so many things outside. I wanted to recap some things which would work as a great list as well for you guys to give you some ideas on what to do with your toddler.
