….
Happy Friday you guys,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung-Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)
as fall is my favorite season in terms of weather, clothing and food on weekends you can find me glued to my kitchen counter and trying out new recipes. I don´t care if it is a hearty dish, a sweet treat or even a drink.
So since there isn´t any hot apple cider available in Germany I made my own.
So here is what you need:
– 12 apples – obviously (I mixed sweet and sour)
– 2 oranges
– cinnamon
– cloves grounded
– sugar
– water
– whiskey or bourbon if you like
How-to:
– peel and cut the apples and put into a huge pot
– peel and cut your orange and add to the pot
– add the spices and the sugar to your fruit in the pot

– let it cook for a short time and then let it simmer at a medium temperature for about two hours
– be sure to have a look and stir from time to time
– puree everything in your pot and let it simmer for another 45 minutes
– serve hot with a stick of cinnamon (and additional a shot of whiskey or bourbon)

I am going to serve this as an aperitif for our Thanksgiving dinner. It is the perfect fall drink.

As always thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

And make sure you enter yesterdays  giveaway.

Fall home decor – gimme all the pumpkins // GIVEAWAY – closed

….

Hi guys,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung-Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links und Markennennung/not sponsored)
I am continuing my passion for fall with my favorite and current fall decor. I am trying to do something a little different each year so view last years post here and here.
After coming home from our honeymoon I was craving fall really bad. Our weather was the best we could have asked for cause I really wanted to have all the cooler temps to break out my knits and checked pants and suede leather jackets.

My fall theme is easy to recreate since my main things are pumpkins. There are lots of them out on our front porch and also in our living room. I have a whole tray of pumpkins on our dining table and even more of them on our coffee table.

 Front Porch //
Let´s break down the areas starting with our front porch. I have lived in a flate for years, before we moved into our house which means I had no front porch so I couldn´t decorate but now things totally changed so of course I am taking advantage of it now. I love pumpkins overall fall things. It is the ultimate fall symbol for me so each September I am visiting a pumpkin patch nearby and get a ton of pumpkins.

Another thing I really love and brings lots of dimension to my decoration is a straw bale. I love to put my pumpkins and mums all around it and also put some onto it. The bale adds height which is never bad for decoration.

Entryway Console //

My absolute favorite fall colors are a dark orange and a rich burgundy shade. These also had been the colors of our fall themed wedding and they looked beautiful together. So I made sure to incorporate lots of these into our entryway decor. The velvet burgundy mushrooms are a real highlight and I totally adore them. The color is so full and rich and screams fall. I added some candles in jars to it and also a festive fall bouquet including lots of leaves and sunflowers. I really love how our entryway has turned out since it is usually the first room you see by entering the house and in my opinion it should somehow be welcoming.

Couch Area //
Our couch is the by far most comfortable area in the house (besides our bed) and one of the most used rooms (besides the kitchen) so I always decorating there whether it is for Spring, Easter or Christmas. A matching decoration is always there at least at one table.

Since I especially love fall cause it is the best time to cuddle up on the sofa, light a pumpkin spice candle and sip some coffee wrapped into a soft and cozy blanket like the faux fur one. So for this reason I am giving away one cozy blanket from Galeria Kaufhof to one happy reader.

Be sure to enter my giveaway below. It will be open until Friday next week – 12 pm. . Good luck.

Chanel inspired tweed pieces that don´t break the bank…

pants Zara / tweed coat Zara / bucket bag Mango

….

Hello friends,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Markennennung- Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links-not sponsored)
who doesn´t love a great tweed jacket or blazer or even better, a whole ensemble??!! I definitely do.
But tweed is expensive. At least all the pieces I have seen so far so I am beyond glad that it finally came back from the classics to the trends which means stores like Mango, H&M and Zara are carrying gorgeous tweed items too now.

I paired my tweed coat with a pair of olive track pants (olive is huge this fall and winter), a black bow pullover and a pair of heels. I wanted to add an edgy touch to the coat by wearing it with a track pant but still keep the classic flair with a pair of pointed-toe heels. The bucket bag is a recent found from Mango and I really love it and wear it on a daily base.

I have linked a lot of pieces in the widget below for you guys. I hope you like tweed as much as I do as it is such a nice and versatile material. You can easily dress up the coat by wearing it with a black dress and heels or overknee boots or dress it down by wearing a pair of jeans, a pullover and sneakers. There are so many possibilities.

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See you.

The plaid yellow blazer jacket…

plaid blazer Stadivarius / handbag Mango sold out similar here and here / fishnet tights similar here and here / dress bonprix sold out similar here and here / wool hat H&M similar here / golden hoops similar here

….

Hello guys,
(post contains affiliate links/Werbung/Beitrag enthält Affiliate Links/Markennennung-not sponsored)
evey autum I go mad for plaid. I just can´t help it but this really is a season appropriate pattern you can only wear a few month.

I do have quite the collection on plaid, gingham and glencheck and never loved it more.

So what are your thoughts on mustard ? I mean the color. I really love this shade of yellow and in my opinion this is a great yellow color for many skintones.

I paired it with a black sweater dress and a pair of black fishnet tights. I really love fishnet tights and since the mornings are really chilly I love wearing these as a compromise before wearing acutal tights in the colder weather.

These pair of western inspired booties are made of suede leather. I always prefer a suede material over actual leather but it is sensitive. I always make sure to have it at least waterproofed.

The golden hoops have been my go-to earring for about two months now and yet I am still not sick of them. Got them in several shapes and sizes and am so happy they came back to fashion better than ever.

Do you like plaid or is it just too much for you cause it tends to be everywher around fall and winter months?

Thanks for stopping by. Take care. See. you.
