I really should thank my Dyson every day cause it absolutely keeps my sanity intact in these hot and mostly humid days (my hair is a disaster but that is another problem with a hopefully also quick solution to it). I am not really a summer girl which means I love wearing dresses but the heat and the thunderstorms mess with my circulation and I am feeling mostly awful during summer. I have bad headaches cause of the constant weather changes, I am super tired and swollen when the humidity is very high outside (on some days I can´t wear strappy shoes cause I can´t close the buckle) and I am sweating a ton. I personally hate being hot cause of the weather and with many hot days in a row our bedroom gets warm and stays warm during the night.
So there were only two choices for me not to get insane. Sleep in the basement (no, thank you spiders) or get an air cooling system (we didn´t get an air condition because we didn´t want to have a huge construction zone in our bedroom until it would be finished). That is how we got our Dyson hot + cool. This post is in no way sponsored, I am just reviewing a very necessary personal purchase I am fully convinced about here.
What can your Dyson do for you?
It has a cooling and a heating function. The cooling function goes up until stage 10 (this is the intensity the air is blowing out). To be honest I haven´t used the heating function yet. You can choose between wide or centered air distribution and it can also rotate at 180° to cool every corner in your room. Another great thing is that is has a timer funciton. So when we go to bed we pick stage 3 and set the timer on two hours and it still cools and after two hours stops by itself. The remote is really easy to handle and it sticks on top of your Dyson with a magnet so it is alway in the place it should be and doesn´t get lost.
It also has a integrated air and pollution filter which is especially a great addition for allergics.
The cost…
I know that all the Dyson products are expensive and this one is no exception (it ranges between 450 and 600 €) but for us it is totally worth it. It helps up sleep calm and cooled throughout the night and I would not trade that in for anything. I was a hot and sweaty mess in the mornings with almost wet hair all over so this is a huge relief for me waking up only tired and not heated as well.
We ordered ours on amazon so maybe you could have a look at it during the amazon prime days, it could be discounted. We got ours in the middle of Feburary to a great price of 300 €.
