I have been a true (and maybe a little obsessive) amazon follower for a long time now and they have improved a lot. Their fashion section literally exploded and the site offers so many cute and affordable pieces now. But all that glitters is not gold. Many pieces are great but some of them are just a real waste of money. So I am sharing my amazon fashion finds with you today I got the last couple of months. Fit, price, quality and shipping. Everything you would want to is included in this post so make sure to scroll through.
Blazer vest // I have been looking for a cute blazer vest a long time and found this style on amazon. I really liked the picture, style and cut and got two colors. The black and taupe color. It arrived about three weeks later which is fine for shipments from China to Germany. So I unpacked it and the vest itself is awful. The whole item is somehow crooked cause it isn´t sewn properly and the material is very thin and poor and feels strange. I meassured my upper body before ordering but it didn´t fit at all. This really has been the worst article I have ever ordered from amazon. I would not recommend it at all.
Heart shaped sunglasses // The perfect dupe for the high fashion brand piece if you won´t or can´t splurge on these I would totally recommend them. Available in a bunch of different colors and for under 3 Euro an absolute steal. Shipping takes a little longer but in my opinion it is worth it. I got the red and white pair and they arrived without a scratch. Still thinking about ordering the black ones.
A-Line midi skirt // I am a huge sucker for a-line skirt. They give me such a vintage rockabilly feel and I just love the style. I ordered this skirt back in Feburary and it arrived quickly but was way too big. I didn´t want to send it back so I gave it to the tailor to take it in. The quality is great. Beautiful print, thick material and not seethrough at all. If you want to order it make sure to really take your meassurements first.
Kimono // Perfect addition for you bathing suit. I love the kimono a lot with its bright colors and pretty pattern. Definitely going to wear this with a white bathing suit during out vacation. Can´t say anything bad about it. Also fast shipping. Came about a week before predicted date. Ordered size M but could have gone with size S easily. It runs big.
A-line maxi dress // I saw this dress first on Emily from The Sweetest Thing in early spring and loved it right away. It is availale in tons of colors and I probably going to get the royal blue and yellow version as well. The dress looks like the tunic of a greek goddess to me. Perfect for summer and so beautiful to style with fun and colorful accessories. It is one size fits all and I personally think it fits great on me. I am usually wearing a size medium in everything.
Thermal buttoned shirt // I wanted to try out one of these cause I have seen them all over Instagram and everyone was raving about these cause they are so soft, comfortable and warm and I personally like the button down style. I decided to go with a white one in size M cause of the recommendations but I could have easily gotten a size S. I still want the burgundy one for fall so I am definitely going to order a size small. Great quality and looks for 12 Euro.
Jersey maxi t-shirt dress // I got this one cause I wanted to see what the hype about this maxi t-shirt dress was. I have to say I don´t love it in person but styled with a bunch of accessories it really does look good. I have gotten a size medium cause of all the reviews but I could have easily gotten a size small. There is lots of room in this dress. The material isn´t the softest but it doesn´t scratch at all while wearing it so in my opinon it is okay. Haven´t washed it yet so I can´t tell you anything about that but it doesn´t wrinkle easily.
Fluffy house slippers // These are by far my favorite house slippers ever. They are super soft to wear and the pink plush is adorable. Also available in black and gray (which is more of a lavender shade, just got these for my SIL). They hold up really well, still look new to me and I have been wearing them since March almost ever day. The price of 25 Euro is justified for me and the fluffy house slippers also fit true to size. I am wearing a 37.
Headbands // My top trend for 18/19 are headbands. I loved them since Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl looked so chic and sophisticated wearing them and I am really glad they are back in more colors, material and patterns than ever. My favorites are the knodded ones or the pearl embroidered ones but I also got a few of the velvet styles and they are equally as beautiful.
