Happy Hump Day you guys,

one of our favorite Summer activity is going to the swimming pool. Emilia loves the water and I enjoy it watching her splash around and play with her little friends and experience the water. Of couse everywhere we go I am pakcing a lot of stuff that needs to go with us and there is no exception here.

For beach bags I went back and forth but ultimately decided to get the O Bag Beach. I love O Bag and their concept of the possibility to put a personal touch on evey bag you get.

I got the O Bag Beach in white and selected the navy blue rope handles. It looks very nautical. Perfect for a beach themed bag.

What to pack into your beach bag

UV protecting hat // UV protection clothing is definitely necessary when you plan on spending the day outside by the pool. The sun is so much stronger near the water.

swaddles // I use these to cover her legs when she is sitting in the stroller. They are thin but still have the effects of a blanket.

towel // The hooded towels we got are perfect for sitting around after swimming. The towel doesn´t come off cause it is like a poncho plus it doubles as a blanket to warm up.

shovel // Emilia´s latest obsession. She is taking a shovel everywhere these days.

sun cream // SPF 50 is super important for every baby/toddler especially on pale childrens skin. We have used this sun lotion for the second summer now and we are very satisfied. Got the face lotion as well.

stacking cups // A huge hit whether it is the bath tub or the pool.

fishing net // Such a cute little game. The net comes with 4 little fish to catch with the net,

swim diapers // Definitely a must-have if you are swimming at a public pool. No one likes poop swimming around in the water.

Havaianas // Is there anything cuter than flip flops on a baby??!! This is our favorite brand. The whole family owns Havaianas so Emilia needed a pair too.

swim shoes // These have been pretty helpful cause the indoor pools are really slippery and the tiles by the outdoor pools are super hot in the heat. They are available in tons of colors and Emilia seems to like them a lot.

snack cup // Of course snacks should not be forgotten cause swimming makes hungry. This is great for your little one to pick one by one and not toss everything around.

pacifier // For sleeping in the car after all the splashing which is definitely everytime the case.

As you can see we have lots of stuff with us but the beach bag fits all of it. It is wipeable and washable in the sink which is amazing. Holds up great and the handles are thick and resistant.

We made it! WE MADE IT!!! The 31 days are over and I have posted a dress every day for the whole month of July. I am exhausted to say the least. This was a lot of work but I wanted to try it and push through and here we are.

31 different dresses styled for Summer. The knit dress I am wearing today is the last dress I am sharing for a while cause I want to wear some of my skirts and shorts before Summer is over. Also I am starting my #closetchallenge for the month of August so I won´t purchase anything the whole month. Might get interesting again.

How to style the knit dress

First of all I love knit dresses. Not only are they the perfect pre-Fall / Fall staple they are super easy and comfortable to wear in the Summer. Of course it shouldn´t be your Winter rib knit piece but other than that you are good to go.

Casual has never been my thing but with Emilia glued to my hip all day and a million things to do I find myself long for sneakers more often than I want to admit so I styled this look very laid back.

This knit dress is pretty thin and I like it very much (also have the tan version of it) plus a midi length is the one I prefer over any other variation.

Adding a denim jacket wrapped around you hip (whether you will need it or not) will give you that hip mom vibe plus it hides a little tummy (on which I am currently working to get rid of). Also if you want to stay in the sporty style range you can swap out the straw hat for a cap.

But let´s leave the dress for a second and talk about these super cool adidas sneakers with leopard print stripes. LEOPARD PRINT!!! I have been buying leopard print for year and have l0t´s of different pieces with the popular pattern but these are amazing. Also these are currently on sale on amazon so head over and grab your pair. I sized up one size cause they run small.

With these last words I am ending this challenge and starting a new one tomorrow. Going to share a weekly round-up of all my #closetchallenge looks. See you soon.
